When I was 4 years old, I saw something on tv, I wasn't supposed to see, and it scared me so much I had nightmares for 3 years.. FYI: When I was kid, I had imaginary mice I played with..
The one I remember the best: There was three bad girls, that would kill my family and my mice, if I didn't give them candy! And I didn't have any! And they kept pushing me, and I got so frustrated that I started screaming and crying.. So I woke up.

I don't know if it was a nightmare or real....but I saw a dark shroud-like thing...it had a grey face, I couldn't see well without my glasses, it was floating over me, I tired to scream but I only shuddered, then I think I woke up, or it dissapeared, either way, I know I don't want to see it again

dreams and nightmares come from diffrent parts of the brain dreams come from the dream part and well nightmares come from the same portion of yourbrain as your memroys thus meaning all your nightmares r twisted mutated memorys

A friend of mine was being a duck.
But anyway. It was the end of the world, I think. I was in my house, with my family and some other people. But there was nothing but ruins and desert around me until the mountains. A tornado was coming in and some of the ruins were on fire. I was outside gathering something with another person in the group, when the tornado got closer. He ran to the house and yelled for me to come, but I didn't respond. He continued yelling, as the storm got closer to me, but I didn't respond, but I turned to face the storm calmly, even though I'd surely die.

Nightmares, you say? Well, this is one I had a while back. Strange thing is, that although the dreams freak me out after waking up, I don't feel any emotion DURING the actual dream.
So I was walking along a road near our cabins that we stayed in during our Smoky Mountains camping trip. I saw my dad walking along the road behind me, and suddenly a huge car went right through him and hit me instead. Everything blacked out, and in the dream I woke up in my bed. Right down the hallway where my bed was facing, the same car was parked there. Suddenly, a severed leg came flying right through the air, from the bathroom (my bathroom and my bed are parallel with each other). A wild-looking woman came out of the car and started stabbing me with a knife, while at the same time, I stumbled across the room to open the light switch. The light switch didn't turn on, and that's all I remember.
Freaky!

I have a lot of odd and.. nightmare-ish nightmares, though my brain blocks them out so I remember just a few.
The one I'm going to tell (for now) counts as a nightmare, I guess, even though there were no monsters or ghost or anything. It was just.. sad.
When I was a kid, way back when my grandpa was alive, I had a dream that nobody believed a word I said. I know that sounds stupid or lame, but think about it; Nobody trusts you. Every word you say, they think its a lie. It was really hurtful.. I remember at the climax of the nightmare, I was trying to convince my family, specially my grandpa for some reason, that I wasn't lying. They all pretended they couldn't hear me and all that childish stuff, and in the end, shouted at me for 'lying'. I felt like poor Mathilda..

The one part I really remember of my dream was when they huddled us all together and told us to run.
Those that didn't wouldn't live.
we all started running.. I was sort of lagging behind because my knee was hurting. then it came up to the cliff and we had to jump into an air ship..
I didn't make it all the way and was slipping. some girl reached down to help me and she pulled me up but someone kicked her and she lost her balance..
It was like we had traded spaces.. I would of died if she hadn't of helped me.. now there I am holding her hand to keep her from falling when I hear a gun shot.. her body gets hit and blood goes everywhere..
shes looking at me pleading and I'm struggling to drag her up when all the sudden her face is gone with the echo of a gun shot. I had to let go.

When I was about 8 or so, I had the worst nightmare of my life (okay ONE of the worst).
My family and I were trapped in the library near my house. It was dark and there was a monster in the library. I got out, but my family was still inside. So like any good little 8 year old girl, I went BACK inside. I found my sisters and my dad and I got them out, but my mom was still inside and I couldn't find her and the monster was right behind the bookshelf in front of me and it came to get me and...well, you know what happens after that, right. The incredibily freaky thing is, my sister, Jade, (for those of you who have met her/heard me talk about her) had the same dream. Creepy isn't it? and my friends always have dreams where I die. Subliminal messaging maybe? I hope not.

Forgot most Nightmares...There are three I remember clearly. I will write from oldest one.
1. I dreamt about going down the stairs at old grandma house. Moreover, seems like I was falling down while floating with speed. Quite scary and dreamt for more than three times.
2. I was being stab with knife on the chest. I can actually feel the knife inside and suffocating. One another terrible experience.
3. I saw fire on the ship and also saw the people putting out fire. Not soon after that dream, I lost someone important to me in ship explosion accident.

age when I had the nightmare: 7ish(lol can't really remember) Its a regular day walking on the sidewalk with no one....yet having a conversation with someone(O.o)while everyone is running. So I am walking to a huge building that has a huge eye in a triangle floating on top the building. I get to the building and king kong starts chasing me, and somehow I am out running him. I see my mom's car, i hope in the backseat and my grandmother is driving, my mom is in the passenagers seat, and my best friend in the seat behind my mother, and I am in the ine behind the drivers seat. Now king kong is catching up, he picks up the car, and my door magically disappears and the end
