 Lillian had noticed the weather steadily getting colder as she walked through the forest by herself. She shivered and wished that she had taken Jackie's new shawl for a while. After all, just a bra wouldn't give a lot of warmth. Lillian chuckled to herself as she went on her way, smiling at the few leaves still on the trees. A few still showed their green hues here and there, but the trees were mostly barren, their foliage now on the ground, covered with a bit of snow. The wolftaur smiled at the thought of snow and winter. Making snowpeople, having snowball fights, sipping hot tea in front of a cozy fire... It would be so fun! But just then, a small mound of cold snow fell off of an overhead tree branch and landed on Lillian's head, much her surprise. "Then again,"she said to herself, "I guess winter can wait a while."
Lillian did her best to shake some of the snow out of her hair, but it was still a bit wet. The wolftaur grumbled in annoyance and walked over to a nearby river that had not frozen over yet. She knelt down on her hands and furry knees, doing her best to avoid any wet patches of grass, and peered at her reflection in the water. Her purple hair seemed much darker in the murk of the river, as did her fur color. Lillian looked at herself and at the foliage around her. There was a deep contrast between the colors. The wolftaur smiled and she went back to her reflection. "Hmm... I still look pretty young for my age. And I'm skinny, too. I guess that's a blessing, huh!" The wolftaur smiled and laughed, breaking the silence in the dark forest's gloom.

 The lean, white centaur moved quickly, his light coat blending in well with the snow. Haru had caught sight of the most interesting thing. A very lovely purple wolftaur had snow fall on her as he watched... she looked cold. Oora had always made Haru carry around furs, even though the cold air didn't bother him. Slowly, he stepped out from the trees. No furs covered his pale skin. He looked as if he should be cold, but he wasn't. He loved this weather.
He walked to the female, offering her a fur and bowing. "Hello, Miss." He smiled at her, his icy eyes finding her violet ones. They were full of a happiness, like his sister's was. "Are you cold?"

Lillian heard a movement behind her in the trees, and she saw a very brightly white colored male centaur standing there, holding a fur out to her. The wolftaur smiled and stood up. "Thank you! I am a bit cold, because, y'know, some snow fell on me and now my hair's all wet!" She giggled a little bit and took the fur. It was very soft and warm, and Lillian was grateful to wear it and take some of the chill of the weather off. Once she put it on, she smiled at the centaur.
"Thanks! It's very warm and cozy! I've never seen you around before. You seem very attuned to winter, huh?" Lillian giggled again and looked the male over a bit. He was muscular of build, and his white fur certainly matched the season, and his hair was tinged with a light blue. His eyes were very lovely, and the wolftaur had to will herself to stray her gaze away from them. "So what's your name? Mine is Lillian!"

Haru smiled at the girl. "Yes, I love the winter. I was born in it." At least, he had been a babe during the winter. "My name is Haru. It's nice to meet you, Lillian. Can I help you get anywhere?" he offered her his arm, wondering if she was lost. The soft snowflakes falling seemed to frame her face before traveling on to the ground, like they wanted to be near her...
