According to reports, ABC and ESPN (both owned by Disney) have signed a new deal with NASCAR to broadcasting rights of the racing franchise. The deal is an 8 year, $4.48-billion dollar deal. Races can be seen in the United States on Fox, TNT, Speed Channel, as well as ABC and ESPN starting in 2007. RAces can be seen in Canada on those same channels, as well as TSN (a sister company of ESPN owned by Bell), Rogers Sportsnet, and the NASCAR In-Car Program Channels.

I just hope that ABC could do a majority of the races. I wonder if they are replacing the TV coverage that NBC/TNT did?

The way it's going to work out is Fox/FX are going to get the first 12 races, TNT is going to cover the next 6 including the Pepsi 400, and ABC/ESPN will get the 7 races leading up to the Chase as well as the Chase itself.
Jerry Punch is already confirmed as coming back for ABC/ESPN! 4laugh
