anybody here who is subscribed to HISHE will have seen this video, but this discusion id ment to be intelligent. I was talking with a few of my friends today, and one of them said that if the ending to the first book would have ended with Bella becoming a vampire and not have to suffer through those other books, that he would have been a fan. I was stunned so a hit him with my chem text book. I hated the book for Bella's impression on women and sparkle faeries vampires. I will always be team Lestat (Louis is to whiney for me). But what about you? Would you have liked twilfail if it ended differantly?

this will just make you cry...

... i would have loved it if buffy burst in and killed everyone! except alice would escape cuz of her whole future sight thing right? then the story would be about hunting alice to her death!

Yeah, I would have liked it if Meyer had openly stated Edward was abusive and then he killed Bella in the end (and if it denounced sexism and all the other bad morals in the books).
That sounds too impossible, though.

I wouldn't care the details as long as the series would have ended with the first book. (although I'd prefer if James had killed her)

That's a good question. I doubt I'd hate it as much as I do now if it had ended there. I wouldn't like it, but I wouldn't care as much about the horrible messages in it. Probably 'cause the hype would have died down much faster. Only read the first half of the book. Seems more of a bore than anything else.

I'd like it if Edward lost control at the end and killed her. With a plot leading up to it. That might be interesting. It'd be an improvement, anyway.
