So Ive been told when I level up Nincada to level 20 it will evolve to Ninjask, with the open slot in my party that I had left will be filled in with the pokemon Shendija.
Well I tried that, and well it didnt work...
So what is the correct way, (or was something missing in the way) to get this pokemon ?

when u evolve the first form guy to ninjask u need a regular pokeball to get shedninja

no u need to have a regular pokeball in bag and have open spot

In order to get a Shedinja, you have to have at least one pokeball in your bag, I'm not sure if it matters what kind so to be safe have a regular pokeball, and an open slot in your party, which means there should be 5 pokemon in your party including Nincada. When Nincada evolves into Ninjask at LV 20, the open slot in your party will be taken by Shedinja, though it doesnt show Ninjask evolving into Shedinja, it will just be there.

All you need is:
-1 Pokeball (The red and white one) (Doesn't matter how many pokeballs you have, as long as you have at least one)
-Nincada that is under lvl 20
-one empty slot in your party
when the Nincada reaches lvl 20, let it evolve into ninjask. You Have to let it evolve in Ninjask, otherwise this won't work. Once you've evloved that pokemon, you'll have a shedinja!
