The two other colors that go really well with Green are its allies Red and White. If you want a decent 3-color deck then its best to go Green White Red. Wooly Thoctar is a 5/4 that costs 1 Green, 1 Red, and 1 White. For a 5/4 beater that is not bad at all. You would also want to include Birds of Paradise, just for extra mana acceleration. Spellbreaker Behemoth is also nice, since he cannot be countered, and as long as he is out Creatures you control with a power of 5 or greater cannot be countered, and all he costs is 4. So for 1 colorless, 2 Red and a Green you can have a creature that makes all your huge creatures uncounterable. Meglonoth is also a amazing creature to have, he is a little on the expensive side, costing 6 total if I remember right, but he has trample and vigilance, and also has the added ability of "Whenever Meglonoth blocks a creature, Meglonoth deals damage to that creature's controller equal to Meglonoth's power." So if they decide to swing with a huge creature and you block with Meglonoth, then they are at least taking 6 damage on the turn. For the white aspect of the deck Path To Exile is a must, being able to remove any one creature from the game (with the exception of Protection from White and Shroud creatures) is just amazing.
