Okay so I have a Nintendo DSi, Pokemon Diamond, and zero irl friends that still play Pokemon. Thus, with all the co-op option realeash now it just makes me sad that I can get the full benefits of this game. However, thanks to GTS I still have a chance of getting some good Pokemon.
But I'm kind of a newbie again since I hadn't had a Gameboy or Nintendo handheld of my own since Gameboy COLOR! So far I have made only 12 trades and I can't even really remember all of them.
I just know that I have a Chimchar, Hunter, Golden, Chatot, Machamp, Turtwig, a rather weak Golem, Misdervus, Chimcho, Glameow, and a Dustox LV 100 which I used to beat the Elite Four!
That was one of the better trades granted the person only wanted a female Murkrow at any level and I had four of 'em. xd Those seem to be pretty popular too. (I only have one now I think...but I still have a ton of eggs I need to hatch so yeah)
Any other Pokemon that I can only get via Trade that I should know about? Currently I only have 101 Pokemon and I have a lot of doubles of some of the common Pokemon.
I also notice that most of my trades are coming from Japan. I only have two from the States. Though can't people around the world trade? I would like some trades from the UK or South America ya know.

first i'll cover the World-wide thing
Only regions where Pokemon Gen4 has been released can trade onto the GTS, or if a resident of that region uploads their locaton data truthfully
next off: Dustox for murkrow wasnt based as it was a fully evoed for an non-evoed, but getting it at such high elvel means you dont know what it's capable off
also gts-pokemon of late have wound out to be patch-masks so be sure to only seek to ensure you get the right pokemon with name-to-image
also Pokemon like Arceus Darkrai and mew, cannot be traded via GTS, or any pokemon in a pokeball called a 'cherish ball' for that matter
many others namely the lv5 WSHMKR jirachi can be, i know as i've obtained three via GTS, however i used them as fodder and they jolly, adamant and hardy natured in that order
when yo utrade off a pokemon thoguh, you can get a sweet ora pathetic deal so be careful

WOW go then I usually do use "Seek" instead of Offer. Though I did offer up one of my Gravelers for another. Thanks for all the helpful tips and more! 3nodding
