Tuesday night. According to 'master DeLonghy', Bane for the closer buds, this was the evening that the duo of singing, swinging brothers took a break from their evening escapades. Quite perfect timing for a hardworking bunnybuns to hop by after finishing the last run of the day it was, and so, Misha had at last come by for a looooong overdue visit to yet another of his younger siblings.
He's heard bits and pieces about him from Aoi and Rhian, apparently all three got along rather well, even better than merely 'well' in Aoi's case. The hours that Verdant and Orpheus could spend on the nursery grounds had this tendency to overlap quite neatly with Misha and Timka's own working hours, so meeting up was not a sinecure. Mother Iris be thanked though, for uncannily well-informed employers.
And so it happened that the messenger had now found his way to Verdant's home, looking expectant as ever with cheerful nervosity.
Knock knock, special delivery of fluffy sap at the doorstep.

"They SUCK."
"No, they ROCK! They suck!"
Verdant and Orpheus had been arguing like this a little over an hour now and showed no signs of stopping. The two boomboxes at both ends of the living room were playing two completely different bands, a clash of screamo with glam rock. The floor was littered with candy wrappers, bottles of honey, empty bags of chips, and a few cans of soda. The two brothers stood in the middle of the mess, engaged in quite the power struggle.
"Queen is better than them! Queen's vocal harmonies are amazing and Mercury's originality can't be beat!"
"You've been hitting the pipe; Shawn Milke's vocals are far better than Freddy Mercury's and Alesana's allusions to classical mythology and Brothers Grimm fairy tales are far more original in regards to their interpretations."
The knocking at the door snapped the two brothers back into reality. Both lifted up their heads and stared at the door for a few seconds before scurrying about, picking up trash and turning off the music.
"Get the door, Orpheus!"
"I'm not wearing pants! You go get it!"
A few minutes longer and Verdant was at the door, beaming down at a seemingly non-existent stranger. He looked around and frowned, certain that the person knocking at the door had left. Then he looked down to see a paper boy... with floppy bunny ears.
"Do I... know you?"

Misha's not THAT short, what XD
Well, that music war had been rather interesting to listen to, but the bunny was pretty relieved to hear they cut it short to come and open the door. One loud kind of music was stretching it, two at the same time was just mind-boggling.
'Do I know you?' Boy, for a moment Misha was sorely tempted to respond with a rather baffled 'duuuuude', but that sort of phrasing just didn't work with his usual level of conduct. Errr.
"You might not know me but I certainly know YOU, mister." he puffed up a little, just a little to try and get some presence, in ll seriousness, but couldn't hold back a grin for long. "You know, I'm this freeloader-thing living with Elst lately that just can't seem to get home early enough to meet you and Orpheus." snicker. "I keep missing you both. My name's Misha, mister Verdant, and I belong with miss Timka Longway." :3

But Verdant's that tall. XD;
Living with Elst? Strange, I would've known about a fluffy little guy like you...
"Wait, you belong with 'Miss' Timka? So, you're an Essentic too? ... You know, now that you mention it... weren't you at Banning's ball?" It was about this time that Verdant remembered his manners and quickly invited Misha inside; honestly, having him stand out there, how rude! He led Misha into the living room, where Orpheus was currently jamming his Les Paul into the space between the couch and the phone. Fortunately for their guest, Orpheus had managed to pull on a pair of baggy gym shorts... which were too baggy and now hanging off his a**.
"Orpheus, dude, tighten your shorts!"
Orpheus turned around angrily, but beamed innocently when he noticed they had company. "Hey, brah! Make yourself at home! Bienvenidos a nuestro apartamento chinampo."

He quite merrily followed the nymph when he invited him inside, the usual precursory glance-around halting at the sight of his other-brother sibling. Yoho, yoho, what a sight indeed, eep. Misha couldn't help pulling a bit of a silly face there, not at all used to such carefree clothing conduct. Oh well, nothing shameful about it, right? Right? "...I have... no idea what you just said. Nice to meet you at last, Orpheus." 83 XD

"Nice to meet you too, brah! Have a seat!" Orpheus pulled up his shorts a bit, not caring that they sagged right back down again. With a graceful flutter of his wings, he fell on the couch, propped his feet up on the coffee table and flipped the channel over to Univision; En Nombre Del Amor was going to start in four minutes! How did he let time go by so quickly without noticing?
To the wyvern's horror, Verdant turned off the TV and nudged his feet off the table, turning his attention to the bunny. "We have guests, dude; you have the show set to record, you'll be fine." Verdant walked into the kitchen and smiled at Misha. "You want something to drink? We've got orange juice, grape juice, apple juice, bittermelon juice, green tea, black tea, white tea, chamomile tea, lavender tea, low-fat milk, soy milk, coconut milk, mineral water, club soda, ginger ale, and orange soda."

Whoah, such action right away! Looking much like a young boy in an entirely new house, and a little awkward in being so, Misha scuttled after Orpheus and did as he was invited to, plopping down more-or-less beside him. Then right away his attention was drawn to Verdant again.
"You were going to see a movie?" Timing was off, then, hey what, was it really okay? Boy, ever since leaving miss Timka's apartment in her sister's care he hadn't actually watched tv anymore. Not that it had been a big habit of his before either, no. And now more babbling, wow. Even with his affinity for speed, all of this was going in a quite startlingly high tempo. Where DID they find the energy.
"Y-you said melon?" He'd really only gotten the chance to pay attention halfway, and by the end he was still trying to remember the first half of the list, so he just blurted out whatever had first popped up in his head from sort-of midway through.

Orpheus stuck his tongue out at Verdant from the living room, then clacked his teeth together menacingly; if it had been anyone else who turned off his novela, they'd be missing a few extremities. Unfortunately, it was his brother who had done so and they were in the presence of a guest, so a threat was the most he could do.
"Bittermelon juice? Okay, here you go." Verdant poured the bunny a tall glass of the most bitter drink known to man- besides Elst's personal tea, of course. Serving himself a glass of lavender tea, Verdant walked over to the couch and sat down next to Misha, handing him the glass of liquid doom.
"So, you belong with Timka, huh? I hadn't known she had an Essentic, though I suppose it really should've made sense, huh?"

"Ah, thank you sir." he accepted the drink with a small polite nod and nudged aside a littl to give the man some room, eyed it surreptitiously. What was that actually? He brought the glass to his face and snuffled it curiously, a little distrusting the strange novelty he was supposed to be lapping up now. His nose wibbled frantically with soft little twitches, and just as he was about to back away a bit to ponder that odd scent, Verdant made him look up again.
"Oh, yes, I'm with her... I'm not around the shop often. Lots of work to do, letters and deliveries to get to their destination and all. Saves on post office fees, and I'm faster anyway." he chuckled lightly at that. Okay, so the main reason was that some of the messages he carried from place to place were the sort that could get Banning into serious trouble if they were ever picked up upon at any official delivery instance, but osh posh, that wasn't the idea behind him being the delivery boy. Not the only one at least. "I'm glad I could make it here at last."
... to drink, or not to drink. Hmmm....
