I'm not the most religious person ever, but, every year around this time, I start listening to Christmas Music non-stop for personal reasons and one of the people I consider a friend told me that if I kept listening to Christmas Music around her, she'd stop talking to me. I'd completely understand it if it was because she wasn't religious or if she was of another religion, but, she is Christian and says she loves the music, but, she won't let me listen to it.
I don't want to lose her as a friend, but, I told her that I have specific, personal, reasons for doing this every year. I don't know what I should do.

I'm with her on this. It's November. In ten short days, we all will have heard over forty Christmas Carols at least twice, even if we kept earplugs in until the first of December. That's enough to make anyone crazy the first time they here Christmas carols.
Give Thanksgiving a little time to be Thanksgiving. It's not Christmas, but it's pretty cool and it needs more respect and to stop being pushed to one side. The Christmas season really needs to back off, it's starting to threaten Halloween these days. I can understand starting large projects for the holidays early. Or picking up gifts before the rush. But there's preparing for holiday stress and there's starting the holidays earlier than they need to be.

They started playing country-fied Christmas songs at work today.. I thought about shooting myself at least twice... but, was having to much fun with the peanut war against the bar tender.. and playing poker with the other hosts. xD xD
