1.) Gaia's decision to remove tobacco-related process from their shops. What do you guys think? I think it's a pretty good idea, and their decision to boost the sellback prices may actually have some users selling back wink
2.) As those of you in the guild may know, I've been endeavoring to fill my aquarium with Watermeats for the past couple of months or so. Thanks to Gaia's efforts today to half the prices of items in Phin Phang, I have finally achieved what I deem to be the most helpful thing I can do for our guidies.
I have made a full-meat tank. Yes, 17 Watermeats in my aquarium for anyone wishing to grab from it. The average grab on a full-meat tank, as you may or may not know, is easily 1,500 gold. Not bad for a mere 60 seconds of moving your mouse around.
I hope you guys enjoy it for as long as it lasts (even watermeats die, unfortunately).

1. I'm kind of neutral on the subject about the tabacco produts being soulbound. It's just something that I'm used to seeing and now they are going to be gone forever, it kind of sucks honestly.
What about the EI, Carol of Ol' Ebenezer, does that not count too since it's an EI with a cigar?
2. Congrats! If I was really wanting to fill up my tank then yeah I'd go for it and stock up on mermaids. Yay! I'm more or less looking forward to more Booty Grab threads in the Aquarium too.

[GS] Sailor Uran[us] What about the EI, Carol of Ol' Ebenezer, does that not count too since it's an EI with a cigar?
I'm really not sure about that. As far as I know, it's just tobacco-related items in the shops. That's what it said in the announcement, anyway.

GS Adrian Tyndall I'm really not sure about that. As far as I know, it's just tobacco-related items in the shops. That's what it said in the announcement, anyway. Yeah me either. It was one of the many points that the SF was filled with.
Did you know that today is Smoke Out Day and that's the reason? Could it be a prop for that just for a day and then they come back? (Boy I'm asking alot of questions today...)

I think it's a pretty cool idea. but I can't help thinking that the reasoning was a parent complaining or something xd
Regardless, it's nice because there's no underlying promotion of smoking.

They're not promoting smoking by having these items. I personally don't see the problem, but it's not a bad idea to remove them I guess.

I am dissapointed in gaia. those items really aren't harming anything, so its pointless to remove them.
I 'm hoping it is all a joke... even if it will make the users angrier . although i'm going to miss the long drag.

I've got uncles, aunts and cousins who died of strange cancers working on tobacco farms. I'm glad they did it too.
(I also believed my grandmother might have died at 62 for the same reasons. And I'm talking chemicals, not tobacco.)

The cigerette items from the shops are soulbound and can't be sold in the MarketPlace but the EI and RIG items with cigerettes and cigars are still there. I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow if it's a joke or not.
