Goddess of Domestication
Name: undecided Domain: Domestication (taming of wild creatures) Potential Host: Elana Appearance: Long, dark hair, falling into her face/eyes a bit. (Think mustang forelock.)
Personality: Someone calm, soft spoken. Firm and confident, but demure.
It takes quietness of spirit and confidence in the world as it is to tame a wild heart. You jerk a wild thing around, and it will leave you forever.
You have to coax, convince, befriend. You have to understand the need to flee, the reasons for attacking, the instinct warring with reason. Be in connection with an untamed side of yourself, and recognize how it relates to the tamed side, where the trust is involved, and which has to be in control.

Goddess of Empathy
Name Ideas: Tidaera? Tidatha? Ti'dera?
Domain Description: Sharing and coming to full understanding the feelings/emotions of others. This would not include THOUGHTS, but how they were feeling about something. Generally would apply to high and strong emotion, complex and difficult to understand if it were not experienced.
Perhaps the power to help another deal with their emotional turmoils via empathy? A healing of sorts, a means by which to right wrongs done to the individual via himself, or to others via those supressed feelings.
Power Ideas: Emotional Link - tap into the feelings of another individual. Share - Become a conduit to help one individual communicate feelings more directly to another individual. Both must be willing. Forced Feelings - forcible insertion of another's feelings into someone's mind. Block - shield against strong emotions Reflections - To clearly reflect back another's emotions to them in order to help them deal with it.
Description Ideas: Colors - deep rich browns accented by golds, tans, and/or creams. Patterns - swirls, curves, flowing lines, arcs accented curving lines (dots below it, etc), simplistic tribals Hairstyle: Loose and long, or loosely braided (probably some shade of brown?) Wings: unknown Body: I see her as being predominantly humanoid... not animalistic or overly non-human appearing.
Personality: Empathy lacking diplomacy? I could easily see her being too plain-spoken or bald of speech, but with a gentle spirit. One that does not shrink from intimidation nor is cowed by greatness, but who treats all of equal rank for the most part, including mortals. Overall, she'd have the best interest of others at heart, always working for someone's gain. While good by nature, she also would have nothing against the more 'evil' natured beings. All are merely as they are, to her, and all should be treated justly. All feel, to some extent, all emotions. Thus all are equal in her sight.

WD Couple Concept
Name: Dauer'shon Meaning: "beautiful endurance" in German Brief Personality: Loyal, Loving, and Determined How exactly did she wind up with these pups? Please tell me her story. Dauer was born in a large litter, but was the smallest. The older she became, the more her world dimmed. As she became an adolescent, it was realized that her sight was wrong. She had lost all ability to see details. Colors were still bright, light and dark were obvious in the proper degrees. Even general shapes were discernable to the blossoming Dauer, but the nuances of life were lost on her. She could not read facial expression, nor recognize the differences between family members at a distance. Her pack was very understanding and kind, making allowances as she became an adult. She never let her disability slow her down. With guidance, she was able to join the hunt. By using her ears and nose more actively than any other pack member, she learned to identify others at a distance by their pace, their movement, and their scent. She had become a welcome and valuable addition to the pack.
A newcomer joined their midst one fine day, a strong and tall male. As he settled into the pack, growing to know them each by name and personality, he began to show favor to Dauer. The more time he spent with her, the more he fell in love with her. Her strong spirit burned brightly, though her world was fuzzy. Her kindness and laughter were clear, though she saw him but as a blur. The pack was unsurprised when the two were joined as mates. Dauer was deleriously happy with her mate, and the future seemed to lay before them as the savannah under the dawn sky.
One morning, before the sun rose, he woke her urgently. Somewhat confused but with no reason to doubt, she let him cajole her to run with him beneath the fading stars. Once beyond the pack's immediate vicinity, he became jolly. They laughed, played, chased each other across the waving grasses. As they lay panting and joyful beneath the sade of a scrub tree in the heat of the afternoon, she turned to him with a radiant smile. She had news for him of the most wonderous kind. They would soon be parents!
As the sun began to set, she turned her face towards home. He tried to coax her into a game of tag, but she gently rebuffed him, reminding him that she was pregnant and was already beginning to wear out more quickly than she had before. It baffled her that he was so staunchly reluctant to return to the pack's dens. A chill of unease crept through her, and she pressed him more urgently to take her home. Resignedly he complied, leading her back through the cool of night.
It was still dark when they came upon the pack's home. She did not need light to be able to tell that something was wrong. The wind blew the horrid stench of blood and death. The cries of carrion birds were harsh and raccous where once there had been gentle barks of amusement and yips of greeting. With a cry she threw herself forward, aiming for her family's den by memory. The rustle and thunder of vulture wings was as loud as the pounding of her own heart as she fell to her knees over something cold and still.
She spent all that next day, weeping over the dead carcasses of her loved ones. Her mate was strangely silent, hanging back and avoiding the carnage. When the sun was low in the sky, he came to her finally, urging her away. But through the day she had not only wept, but thought long and hard about the day before. As he approached her, she lunged at him and sank her teeth into his muzzle. As he fell back with a cry, she howled at him. "Why?!" she demanded. "Why did you not tell me? Why did you steal me away, only to let the others die?" Her voice was raspy and choked with tears she'd shed all that day. "You knew! You knew, and you let them die!"
No explination of his love for her, of his desperate need to rescue her, would console her. The more he tried to explain, the more she hardened her heart to the one who had brought so much joy to her life. Anguished in spirit, dark of heart, she drove him from her with words and blows. "Never come here again!" she cried. "Never! I never want to hear your voice again, nor hear your name spoken!" With a last slash at him with her teeth bared, she turned and bounded away, disappearing into the falling night with a soul weighed down with grief and a belly weighed down with pups that would never know who had fathered them.
