a swift ear turned to Bone spirites direction, Blue could feel her eyes on them however he stayed calm and listened to both the young albino and for the stranger in the fading brush. "yes, hide it somewhere safe, I have a great big burrow with a friend nearby, she can count them for us if that sounds good.I'm sure she wouldn't mind, if you wanted to share the den too." he offered genuinely, his ear still on the small one he shot a growl when she bolted and he jumped to his feet. a second sound he sharply turned about to see the firey plumed elder standing to the side. Blueflax bowed his head plotely, and sat back down to settle himself from the start he'd been given. "it's not polite to stare, wit" he chuckled slightly to the child, though he could see he was in awe of the elder's impressive stature.
Cricket felt her heart skip at the low rumble, she puffed up her plumage and her ears pinned themselves to the back of her neck, she stood up and tossed a narrow glare at the intruder, her nest site was precious to her and she wasn't about to let just anyone come near. "you're encroaching upon my nest!" she stated sternly to the oddly colored male as he approached, though she seemed to be solid her hocks shook slightly, she wasn't much of a fighter and she didn't want to loose any of her stores, she was paranoid, even if he had only intended to say hello as unlikely as it would be she would have none of it. she was incredibly possessive and territorial, particularly over things she put allot of effort and time into.

The first thing I noticed when she came out of her den, was that she was quite small, either she was young, or cursed with that stature, either way, it’s good for me, it gave me an advantage. For now though, I was just going to see where this encounter lead, she was quite pretty, pastel colors, easy on the eyes. I smirk at her, taking a couple more steps forward at her threat. “Am I?” I questioned, not backing away as I curled my lips over my fangs, “so this is –you- territory then?”
“For me?” she asked to confirm what he had just said, taken aback. Looking down to the den, studying it for a moment in clear surprise, finally she looked back up to the Zombie. “oh… but Morgr’un, I’ve already got a nest for the winter,” she said without really thinking. “I’m nearly done with my stores” she still walked over to him, it had been a while since she had seen him last, getting ready for winter made everyone busy.

At least he blended in well enough.
Alarin slunk carefully as he moved away from his well-concealed burrow, warily watching the bare woods around him. He had no desire to quarrel with others, but with the rising snow (and stress) it was almost inevitable. Ruffling his plumage, he paused a moment to rack his horns against a tree. Hopping out of the snow, he bounded through it the best he could for a long ways, suddenly acutely aware of the sound of voices in the distance.
Not exactly what he had been planning.
Freezing in his spot, his nares flared hard as he struggled to catch his breath, fur on end as hue caught the scent of another in the distance. The air felt warmer here, and he realized now that the snow was not a problem; it had all been melted away.
Disturbed, Alarin listened carefully to the sound of someone approaching. All he cold hope was it wasn't the one who had melted the snow away...

Already is was colder then he liked, Ren wasn't a fan of the cold, cold meant work. He was better at just lazying around all day in the sun. But of course that wasn't an option no more. Of course he wasn't ready for the winter, he had a stick... He held up his stick and growled low in his throat. This wasn't gonna keep him warm. A part of him suggested he just steal someones but even that meant putting out to much effort. The only time he really tried was for food. With that idea in mind he licked his lips only to regret it a bit later as it seemed to freeze.
Slowly he marched on growling low out of anger as the bitter wind hit his hide.

"Oh.. uh.." Wit's many eyes still remained wide as he watched the passing of the Elder. Lucky for him the firey male moved past them quickly enough and out of sight. Otherwise, despite the warning, he may have stared all day.
"Do you think I can get big like that?!" He looked at Blueflax with his childlike innocence. Would Blueflax be honest, that Wit may never achieve it with his obvious troubles? Or would he encourage the young one to reach for the stars, just to give him a little hope?
Wit shook his head, when the adult offered him a place to stay. "I have a den.. a hole. I like it! I made it!" It was kind of rough, but he'd made it himself and he was attached to it. "Should I put things in it? I have to get started!" His legs scrambled for a moment, as if the front ones wanted to go to his den and his back legs wanted to look for food. All it did was have him spill out on top of the dusting of snow.
Usul was pleased that the angry elder and his crew didn't catch him. He continued to sneak around and looke for scraps, ANYTHING he could take. As he crept he heard a growl. It forced him flat, wiggling on his stomach through the low hanging branches of an evergreen, the only thing still blooming.
As Usul popped his head out of the tree he became aware of a rather angry looking red striped male who he did NOT want to cross. Sinking his head back into hiding, Usul retreated. He was backing away, unaware that from behind him there was another male, this one white and grey and wearing some very interesting accessories.
If he saw those, there may be a confrontation...
