So, I was in the car listening to Wings. Then I just had this sudden idea. My idea is to write a book and turn that book into a broadway play featuring the music of Wings.
So, here's what I've got in my head so far.
There's a couple. Joey and Sadie. They love each other and are childhood sweethearts. In the opening scene, they start singing about how much they love each other with the song "Silly Love Songs." Joey's in a band. Band gets big. Joey has to leave Sadie to go on tour. Joey and Sadie miss each other and they kind of sing a technical duet of "No More Lonely Nights". They keep in touch with each other for a while and then just lose contact.
So, Sadie can't get in contact with Joey because of her line of work and same for Joey. Joey eventually forgets about Sadie. Sadie still misses Joey and sings a version of "My Love" to show that.
Several years later, Joey's band loses popularity and record sales. His wife leaves him due to the lack of money. Joey feels life sucks and crap like that. Then, he suddenly remembers Sadie and how much he loves her. So, he tracks Sadie down based on some factors I don't feel like describing right now and visits her. Once he finds Sadie's apartment, he uses the key that she gave him several years before to get inside her apartment. So, he sits at her piano that she owns waiting for her to return home.
So, eventually, Sadie returns home, finds Joey, and starts yelling at him about why he never called/stayed in touch and how much she knew that his band was a bad idea with the song "Too Many People" (That was your first mistake/you took your lucky break/ and broke it in two). So, Joey tells Sadie how much he loves her by playing the song "Maybe I'm Amazed" on the piano. In the middle of the song, Joey apologizes to Sadie for all the times he's let her down and asks if she still loves him. Sadie replies with the chorus from Silly Love Songs. They kiss. Song ends. Happy ending.
THE FREKKIN' END
There's more but I'm too lazy to type it right now. sweatdrop
