I really depends on your personality I think.
For me its stressful. I'm the supply NCO so I'm over worked and under appericated (sp) , so being in is stressful. However I meat some amazing people (friends for life) and have great stories to share. So I love the Army and could not imagen never being in. heart

it is the hardest but best thing you will ever do. it is like a reality show in basic and can go anywhere from there

LoL....how to answer...

When your not in Iraq or Afghanistan.....you're getting payed to do NOTHING....so....I'd say the Army is Boring....assuming you get a combat arms MOS....If you got an admin job working in an office doing paperwork....it'd be equally boring, but at least you'd be busy.

it's all about how you take it all in!

basic is tough only if you are not physically fit!
other wise the only thing hard about basic or for my basic "FT. Banning, GA"
was they try to get in your head it's all mind games in basic so it's pretty easy.

after that AIT/ MOS training is pretty fun i was at APG, MD "wasn't fun"
everyone got into fights with other soldiers and stuff hated that part but other then that school and free time was great went to baseball games a fun events..

but once you get to your unit/ duty station it really depends on your MOS and unit. It is fun being in the military but it is hard at the same time. thats just how i take it.

better attitude the more you'll get out of it
bad attitude you'll probably not enjoy it like you thought.

and "shiver's comment" i do agree with you there because i have worked many months with my units supply NCO it's a headache most of the time and you do not get much appreciation..
