((Too late to think of a proper name >.> Heh))
Micarreth had come to realize there was a drawback to being a patron.
He was bored.
Very bored. He had managed to move on up into a better House, he had left his brother behind..but with his brother having fathered two female children he was worried about killing him now. Not because he'd have to kill the babies too, but because he was unclear on how prominate the female was that had mated with his brother. He did not want to risk bringing a third House into his grudge match. Which meant he could not offer Burryna the richs of his House. He was worried that may probe to be a problem too. He supposed he could blackmail her with the knowledge of how she offed her mother, but he doubted he'd survive that.
So all he had now was wht hope she'd not find a better male to take possession of, and that the female daughter he gave her would not grow up to be a dissappointment. Micarreth stood over the babies crib and peered in at Akorwae and Riknolu. They seemed fine he supposed. But...guh...
"You two are so ugly." He replied after a thoughtful moment. They better grow up pretty! Micarreth reached into the crib to pull the babies out and tuck one into each of the crooks of his arms. "Come on...we are going to see your mother. The nurse said it's important you get to look at her at least once every few days or something while your still little mush heads."

((holy, late reply is late))
Burryna was, well, doing Matron things. There was always something to be taken care of. The other day she had to deal with some of the slaves and the house's fighters (they were getting restless). Today she had a small meeting with her two sisters. That was something which surprised her, that both were still around the house.
Well neither had a place to go, and she doubt the twins would split so easily. It's not like they could kill her and take her place. Not since she had an heir of her own (even if there was a male). Speaking of her own children, Burryna wondered how they were doing. The other day she had seen Mica actually attempting to play with them and she hoped he hadn't injured them at all. He was fond of wearing sharp things...
Now later in the day, she was sitting on her throne and some advisor was telling her something. She wasn't listen much for she could care less and the moment. Burryna hoped that someone, anyone would walk through the door and give her some sort of distraction.

With Rik under one arm and Akro under the other, Micarreth wandered his way towards the throne room. "Now you two meatballs got to be quiet." Micar spoke to the babies as if they had a chance of understanding him. "Mother is probably doing important female stuff. So you can watch and maybe we'll be lucky and you'll get to see your first blood shed." Micarreth tilted his head to glance at Akor's face, and then over at Riknolu...who seemed to be fascinatingly grabbing at one of the daggers on his armors front. Rather then stopping the boy, Micar smiled brightly at his interest in the weapon. "Good mush head." He praised the boy, then shifted him into the same arm as Akor. Squishing the babies together, Micarreth opened the door to the throne room and side stepped into the large place. Micarreth pushed the door closed after him with a toe, and then shifted Rik back into his other arm. "Huh..." He muttered to himself as he looked around the disappointingly vacant area. Rik squirmed a bit against his fathers grip, and leaned around him to wave a hand at Akorwae. "GAH!"

The advisor was boring. Burryna was sitting sideways in her throne, legs draped over one side and the side of her head rested on the back, eyes closed. She had dismissed the rest earlier but this one decided to stay and give some update. The Matron had cared until an hour into the discussion where she just got bored with it all.
Her ears perked at the sound of the door and turned to look when she heard Rik's exclamation. Ah, it seemed her Patron was visiting her. The advisor looked to the door and to the Matorn. Burryna motioned her hand for the female to leave, finally.
Once the door was shut from the advisor Burryna grinned and motioned to Mica, she still sitting sideways in her throne. "Gracing me with your presence Micarreth? I was getting lonely." She looked at the children. "I see you brought the twins with you as well."
Akorwae started to squirm at the site of her mother and reached her hands out toward that side of the room.

Micarreth gave the passing adviser a glance up and down before it was she left the room. With the babies under his arms he crossed the hall towards Burryna. "Yeah. I was hoping they'd get to see their first death...but the floors are cleaned so I guess there is no luck today." He half smiled and gave Akor a bit of a jostling as she began to fuss. "Hey...knock that off mush head. I'll drop you on your pudgy a**." He warned the baby. Though, as Akor began to fuss so did Riknolu. With a small grumble Micarreth started to hold Akor out towards Burryna. "Here, take the female or I may drop her."
With Rik's own whining and fussing, Micarreth gave a disgruntled growl and shifted his grip. Rik pitched forwards, but was caught by Micarreth about one ankle. With a sight, he held the baby upside down and watched as it's face scrunched up and he began to wail. "Uhwaaaaaaaaah!!!"

Burryna shook her head. "I do have to deal with some of the slaves in a few days. You should bring them by then, they'll be sure to see a few deaths." It was good to expose the twins to such violence at their early age. She didn't want them to grow up too soft like some drow she'd heard of. The Matron sighed and took the girl from Mica, getting her on her lap. "Dropping her wouldn't be a good thing you know. That could warrant a punishing." The first born female was always the most important.
Her rose eyes rolled as she watched Mica almost drop the boy. "You know that one could be of importance one day too. If he proves to have any useful skills." She sighed and looked at Akorwae who seemed interested in the snake whip that was on the ground, she would be a high priestess one day. The little girl squirmed a bit more. "Have you seen either of them show interest in anything?"

"That would be excellent" Micarreth replied as Burryna took the girl child from him. He rather looked forwards to showing the little meat balls a bit of blood, if only to see how they reacted.
"Hey. I warned her to stop." Micarreth defended himself when Burryna warned him about being punished for dropping the stupid brat. "And that's why I gave her to you." He finished before turning to look at the squalling boy.
"It's just a male Burryna. We don't even need it right now. I'm sure we'll have another eventually." With his callouse words, Micarreth grabbed the baby by the back of his little suit and flipped him right side, though that did not stop Rik's wailing. In anger and frustration, the baby kicked his legs, and made grabbing motions towards Akorwae.
"You mean besides the boy's determination to stick to his sisters side?" Micarreth smirked and shook his head slightly. "I don't know about Akorwae. She just seems all round curious. The boy likes shiny things and his sister from what I can tell."

"Of course it would be, it's never to early to expose them to life or death for that matter." Though the children may not even remember anything from such an age. Either way it would ingrain itself someway.
Burryna grinned and adjusted the squirming girl on her lap again. "Yes well, she doesn't understand you know. I think you can keep from dropping at least the one." She looked to the boy as well and nodded. "Daughters are better though, if there were to be any more. Sons can have their uses though, we'll see with him." Though she did not have any brothers, in the houses she saw that had them, they made good mages usually.
"If he doesn't leave her alone, he could make a decent guard for her." Burryna shrugged and stopped Akorwae from grabbing her hair. The little girl was always curious. "Well, she being first born, she should be a priestess, of some sort. Maybe he will be a fighter."

Riknolu continued his angry flailing, and succeeded in landing one of his little booted heels into Micar's side. With a small grunt, he shifted the boy in his arms so he could not kick him as easily. "Ugh. I suppose so. I guess I should not be so disappointed. My House only had sons after all and I've done pretty well for myself."
Micar glanced at the preoccupied Akorwae, and clapped a hand over Rik's mouth to silence his angry yowling. " A guard..that would be good. Give the boy a purpose at least...and I guess being a warrior runs in the blood. We could do that. How long do I have to wait before I get him started in training?" He nodded his head at Akorwae with a faint smile. "A priestess would be perfect I think."

Burryna grinned slightly at the boy's flailing, perhaps he would make a good fighter. If anything he did seem to land a hit to Mica. "We do not know yet anyway, they are still quite young." She rose a brow. "Have you done well?" It was more of an understandment on his part. How she saw it was he did more than well, she wouldn't consider what she allowed well to say the least.
Now it would seem that Akorwae was interested in getting off her lap and to the floor. More interested in the nine-headed snake whip that lie near them. A priestess indeed. Burryna sighed, at least any other children she'd have she wouldn't have to raise herself. She shrugged. "I've had no brothers, neither had my mother. I'm not sure on when he would. I suspect you'd know more on that than I. I would say not for a few years. He'd probably need some other training first til he's taught as well."

"Well...yes. To have a daughter first is always good. And in a way you know...having the boy at the same time sort of saves on your condition. Now you don't have to bother with getting fat and pregnant again to have a first son. We've taken care of our firsts in just one birthing. Knowing my brother he'll have to do everything all over again just to have a son. And he really does like boys, if you get my meaning." Micar wrinkled his nose and stuck his tongue out a little bit. In his hands, Riknolu ceased his wailing and fussing when his father made such a face and immediately began to laugh wildly.
"Meh. As soon as he can understand things I guess I can have one of the guards start teaching him stuff. Oh! Can I jump out at random and beat him up! ...er...to..better...teach him to be on his guard I mean?" Micar glanced at the laughing boy, then lowered him to the floor.

He was right at least, to mention that she didn't have to bother just having a son by himself. It didn't inconvenience her much more since she was already having the girl. The boy was lucky his sister came out first. "True, though next time let us hope for no more sons. Or at least he have another sister with him." Burryna grinned. "It seems Riknolu found that funny." At least the boy had some sort of humor, though he best to hide it when he grew.
"You can always help as well. Just don't hurt my son to much. I'd rather the first live, his sister seems fond of him." Akorwae squirmed some again. She sighed and set the girl on the ground who just sat there and looked at her brother. "I just hope they grow quickly."

Micar looked at Rik as he sat on the floor. His eyes were a tad crossed from being held upside down for so long, but the moment the baby determined where Akorwae was, he started to determinedly crawl up towards her. His crawling was a little tilted, but the boy was quiet determined.
"I won't permanently damage him." Micar grumbled while crossing his arms, though he did nod his head. "I can't wait until they are older personally. Child rearing is boring." He paused then, and pursed his lips. "Is it normal for babies to be so... so possessive of each other?"
