 The rogue cub walked the bank of the pond, squishing through the thick mud. It was cool and felt nice on the pads of his paws, and he especially enjoyed the squish! every time he took a step. But nothing was a fun by yourself. Cian's ears fell back - he wish he had a friend. His brow furrowed as he scanned the area around him for any other signs of life.

 Star Spot yawned, he was resting on his side near a tree base opposite side of the mud.
His stub of a tail flickered as he rested, bored, he heard something moving in the mud. It was that clear, squish - smack - squish noise, he opened one of his golden eyes and looked towards the noise.
It looked like a cub... he sighed, he just hoped it wouldn't splash mud on his fur. He'd just cleaned it!!!

Cian spotted the male lying under the tree. Wow, someone new! he thought, taking a few move steps in the sticky mud. It wasn't a cub, but maybe this adult would still play with him! As Cian approached Star Spot, he broke out into a slow run. "Hellloooooooo~!" The cub called out, extending the 'oh' sound.

The dark pelted Male sat up looking at the cub as it ran towards him. When it was closer he lofted a brow, "Afternoon." He said softly scratching his ear with his hind paw.
"So what's a cub doing playing in the mud without a friend?" Star spot asked curiously still hoping the cub didn't get any mud on him.

The cub titled his head slightly to one side, his ear dropping. "Well.." he started, pausing a bit. "I haven't really met anyone else but you. I guess I don't have any friends." He furrowed his brow, as if he was thinking. "Maybe you could be my friend?" He asked as a small, hopeful smile spread across his maw. "By the way, what is your name? Mine's Cian!"
