It amazes me that some of them don't realise they are chavs...and some of them seem to be proud to be chav
bliddy pikeys...the lot of em
evil First of all, by the way Chatham is home of the chavs'!! get it right lol!
secondly I'll repaeat what I have said elsewhere.
Now i am a chav' but an educated chav' at that, and I think it is funny how people put others into stereotypes, especially when they do not know the facts or the people themselves. I call myself a chav' because of where I live (Chatham itself!)my chioce in clothes, accent and my economic situation. none which can be say are a choice exept my clothes, and why should I have to wear anything apart from what I like and feel comfortable in.
Thirdly 'chavs' and pikeys are VERY different. I know REAL pikeys and I wouldn't want to mess with any of them most 'chavs' are posers, and have a problem with the world and like causing problems, and think they are tough.
Discuss... don't you think though that the 'Chav' culture is a result of our society and government, aswell as our ways of life, and a change in others ways and lifestyles in order to basically survive in this world?
I just think that it is so much of a cliche about 'Chavs'... I know many 'Chavs' that still hold moral values and will help an old lady carry shopping (If they aren't so scared of being mugged!) or stand up on the bus and hold doors open...
Yet i know many 'goths' that spend all their time vandalising, fighting, drugged to the eyeballs and being *****, but it seems that the 'Chav' culture is the one that is being used as a scapegoat and persecuted, without people looking at the reason the culture has developed.
