Exactly, I'm a strong supporter of Sephiroth, but not to the point to where I'd deem him unbeatable, Sephiroth is like Chuck Norris, he's bad a** and can kill anyone, Until Wesker shows up, Wesker's like Bruce Lee, the one person that can take him out.

Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee, both completely epic, but only one can win.

Sephiroth would win. I mean when it comes to guns we all saw how useful Barret was against him. Not to mention the fact that Sephiroth can use materia so you have to add things like stop, slow, and haste into the equation.
So, though I think Wesker is awesome, Sephiroth would win. Hands down.
