Six out of ten. This may be a little harsh, but bear with me. It's constructive criticism.
Let's start at the bottom. The boots and/or skirt. I've never been a fan of pointy shoes. They create a 'witchy' feel that is very cliched. Either different shoes, or a longer skirt would compliment the outfit nicer. Also, the skirt's a different shade of black than everything else. While it is hard to do, I do recommend trying to match your shades of black. It looks nicer.
Next, the 'cute and fluffy'. Obviously, you are trying to portray a darker side with the black outfit. But the mimzy completely throws it off. It also doesn't match anything else you have on. I'd vote you not use it, unless you're willing to overhaul the whole look for a "gothic lolita" one. Then, the mimzy would work, regardless of color.
Last, the Elemental Wings. I understand you may be trying to show a "pure and innocent" inside, but really, it doesn't match the outfit at all. Why not instead opt for a halo? Those always work pretty nicely, and can match different outfits easier, because of their color or design.
This is just meant as friendly advice. Please don't take it the wrong way, or snap at me if you did the best you could with what gold you have at the moment.
On a lighter note, what does the rest of the guild think of my avatar? I tried to get a winter feel, and still look 'kitty'. I used the Winter Rose petals to be snowflakes...

Aaaah, in depth criticism, my favorite heart
I'd give you a 6/10, though I am holding you to a higher standard than my usual because of the detail of your post. My criticism is also purely constructive, and not meant in a harsh way.
Overall, it feels a bit plain. I understand that you're going for 'wintery' and 'kitty', and in that sense it works. But in terms of style it's rather uninteresting. The black of the kitty items aren't matched anywhere else in the outfit, making them stand out and throwing off the overall color balance. If you added black accessories somewhere else, or changed the color of those two items to a gray or white, it would fit in much better.
Accessories in general would jazz things up a bit I think. If there were gold-colored cat items you could add a touch of gold jewelery to work with the color of your eyes. Maybe changing the boots to something in a closer green, or one of those contrasting colors would free up space to add some more visual interest to the lower half as well.

I'm going to say 8/10 for the black and gold and white scheme. While I reeeally like the outfit, it feels... a bit empty, but then again, I am the master of over crowding things, so it could just be me xD
As I sit here and type this I'm cosplaying Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 4, but by the time anyone reads this, who knows what it'll be :/

I give you an 9/10.
I've always enjoyed the subtle combination of blue and black and you pull it off quite well. Your avatar is also not over crowded with items which, lets face it, a lot of people have an issue with on this site.
Also you're using one of my favorite hair styles on Gaia which is an added bonus.

9/10
Very nice. A bit plain for my tastes, but that's personal preference. Not too many colors, and a good balance of black and white/gray, with a bit of brown for visual interest, and a nice red accent. The only things I would change would be for the sake of the physical balance of colors. Maybe some brown shoes to balance the brown on the arms (though I'm not even sure about that, it may end up being too much brown), and something dark on your head to break up the amount of whiteness there.
Overall, nicely done.
