 Bryant carefully guided himself to the pond from the tree-line. He heard the animals making haste to get away from the stench. No birds were chirping, no sounds of animals near-by. It made it really hard for him to hunt, let alone make friends. He hadn't had a good meal in a few days. It didn't help that he was blind either.
He stopped walking and sat down in front of the pond he sightless eyes turned out towards the water. He listened to the splashing made by jumping fish and across the pond there was a croaking frog. He must be downwind of the frog. He swiveled his ears around to keep a look-out for new sounds coming towards him.

 "Oh! What happened here?" Candy padded along the bank, grimacing at the pond water which once used to be a nice sparkling clear blue. Now it just looked like muck. A few fishes splashed around feebly and a frog croaked in front of her. She hadn't been around for a week and now everything looked like it had gone through a volcanic explosion. What happened? Candy leaned in to where the frog sat on a lily pad. "Boo." She whispered gently. The frog jumped into the opaque water. Candy giggled and continued on her way around the pond. She shook her head. What once used to be a beautiful area was now destroyed.
On the other side of the pond, Candy spotted something. It looked...rather different. She couldn't describe what it was, but it was moving so it had to be alive. As she moved closer, it clicked in her head. There beside the tall grass was another Saigh! She couldn't believe there were still others around in this supposedly abandoned area. Being the curious girl she always was, Candy crept quietly towards him in hope to find the answer to her questions.(( I'm not sure about where you're going with the smell but I'm assuming it's coming from the pond? Just tell me if you want me to change anything. c: )) [ ♥ ]

((I was going for a little bit of smell from him and a bit from the pond.))
Bryant heard the Saigh's comment across the pond. He heard the frog jump into the pond as well, but couldn't tell why the frog would jump into the water the was almost as smelly as him. The other Saigh female by the smell of her. She was now creeping towards the side of the pond he was on. He waited until she was a little closer "I hear you coming," he said. His ears turned once again towards the pond where another fish had just jumped in the pond. His thoughts turned once again to lack of food.

Surprised by his remark, Candy stopped in her tracks. Apparently, she wasn't quiet enough. She giggled and jogged happily to him, glad to see another Saigh. "Hello, who are you?" She tilted her head to one side as she looked at him with a curious expression on her pink face.
Candy sat down beside Bryant, noting his missing eyes and scarred body in her head. The smell of the pond was strong enough to cover up his smelly body that Candy didn't notice anything unusual.
