Why pm the clearing message? It seems pointless, as it is this guild's activity is low, there's rarely an interesting topic, so it's kind of hard to post. So what's the point of clearing out inactive members who may become active if there was actually topics of worth?
Just my opinion.

Moved to off-topic.
The point of it? It seems you entirely missed. We're trying to get people active in the guild so people CAN start posting. Some people forget guilds even exist after they've joined the guild. -shrug-
We're trying to give them time to post (the mass bannings will happen in January). Some people have left Gaia or some other foolishness keeps them from posting. Hopefully, three months will be enough time for them to get to a computer and get the guild announcement. If they've posted once since they've joined, they have no worries. We're trying to weed out the zero posters.

Bah, I can understand why it is that they desire an increase in posting: they want to know what people are worth keeping, and who should be removed.

Number of members is not what's important, its the number of active members. And since there are people who wont post, it shouldn't really be a big deal to them if they get kicked out in a couple months.
