*sighs* The only bad part about having friends that play pokemon are the verbal fights. Anyhow, recently we were discussing evs and pokerus. The question came up, when your pokemon gets the smilie face...
The smilie happens at 'witching hour' as the FAQ describes it. So is pokerus still in effect, meaning you can ev train normally, if you get the smilie... And can you still spread it even after the smilie face?
(Maybe I didn't read it right x.x)

think the smily face means that the Pokemon dont have pokerus anymore. When my pokemon got the smily face they couldnt get or pass pokerus again.

The smile face means the pokemon has it, but can no longer pass it along to other Pokemon. The infected pokemon still gets the bonus EVs from it. And no, there is no specific time when it activates. It varies between each Pokemon and came happen at anytime. More noticably after a battle.

-if it has a smilie face you still have pkrus but can't be spreaded
-theres a 1/3 chance of spreadable pkrus spreading after battles.
-you can still ev train with the smilie face as if it is was normal pkrs
-it becomes a smilie face at midnight, so if you still want spreadable pkrs still, put the poke in the pc box before 12 a.m (midnight)
