are very awesom!!!!!! at least bassoons are. no offense to oboes, but they kinda sound like someone's strangling a duck. or at least the ones in my band do.
But still. Double-reeds are the bestest!!!!!!!

Only the bad ones. The first chair in my band is amazing. I could listen to him play all day long. ^_^

The other day I asked one of our oboes where the duck goes. he just looked at me like "Que?"

Oboes do NOT sound like ducks suffering from strangulation! They are DYING ducks. It is very different I assure you. Also, bassoons sound like geese. dramallama
