Plot
Just another worthless, runaway brat roaming the streets of the city. Higa isn't wanted or welcomed anywhere anymore. It is no surprise either, seeing that he does what he has to just to survive these days. It doesn't matter if it is theft or even sometimes jobs given to him by the Japanese mafia.
It's been weeks since the boy, a ripe age of seventeen, has had his last job and is now desperate and hungry. What is worse is that he is about to loose his rundown apartment while winter is approaching. So, Higa comes to a conclusion - he needs to steal again, but it has never been easy for him to do that. People realize so quickly and due to himself being somewhat weak due to lack of energy - therefore it is obvious that when he tries to steal from somebody other then little old women or teenage girls he is beaten.
So what might the result be this time when he tries stealing from a grown man?

Setting
Present day Japan as it enters the winter months. There is already snow on the ground. This is the type of weather, that if you have to sleep outside you are most likely to die. It is New Years, and most people have gone to make their wishes at the temples.

Personality: It takes a lot to gain Higa's trust. To be blunt, he is highly mistrusting and can be quite nasty if he feels threatened. Once his trust is gained you can be sure that he will be loyal - once that trust is broken a mortal enemy is gained. Though right now he is extremely rough around the edges, with a little work he can become the sweet heart he used to be.
Bio: Higa's father passed away when he was 12 years of age, which in term lead his mother to become depressed and start dating again. She was lonely and whenever she gained a new male friend Higa was slightly ignored. Things got worse as his 14th birthday approached. His mother was dating a new man, but this one was different from the rest. He did things to the boy when he though Higa was asleep. It wasn't terribly long after the night visits had started that Higa's mother engaged the man. Since Higa's mother worked late into the night things eventually got worse. Finally Higa had enough and ran away. A sixteen year old doesn't get to far when they are living to support themselves, hence him getting familiar with the mafia.

Occasionally, he'd hunt down marks the police, who were constant clients, sent to him in exchange for letting him expand his weapons range.
