Huffing slightly, the heavily pregnant doe eased herself next to the water, catching her breath in a weedy patch. She'd been putting off coming all the way to the river from the Down for water, but grass just wasn't enough moisture as of late. Her ears twitched in annoyance as she thought of how difficult it was going to be to get back up and back into her own burrow.

Nightingale bounded through the grasses at a somewhat slow speed, glad to be out of the Warren for now. He veered from the Warren, going a little faster as he let the hill take him down. Changing his direction a bit, he headed towards the river spotting the doe resting nearby. He recognized her from the Warren, but didn't know her personally. Nightingale wandered over to where she lay as he slowed down, a little curious as to what she was doing out here all by herself.

A young adult rabbit by the name of Everyn sat quietly to herself, outside her burrow in the warren, combing the hair along her chest with her tongue.
"What a mess..." She innocently thought to herself, obsessing with a patch of dirt in her white fur. It was such a trivial thing, but not to her. In fact she always tried to look her best when exiting in the morning for a snack. She never knew who might be watching.
Curiously, she scanned the warren and found herself staring at a sluggish pregnant female by the water, whose name she could not recall.
Her nose twitched, curiously. Should she go down to meet her? Was something the matter?

Her breath even again, she started to clean herself before attempting to drink, finding the whole pregnant bit rather unbecoming of her frame. She honestly couldn't wait for them to be born, for many a reason. Though her bubble of what marlihood must be like had dented a little with the realities of pregnancy, she was sure that her kittens would not only be beautiful, but little angels as well. Wouldn't the whole warren be jealous, they would be perfect, and she'd look so good doing it too.
The thought comforted her and she preened. Her ears shot up suddenly though, as she heard rustling of grasses. She sat up with some difficulty and scanned around, wondering where she'd hide if it was indeed an elil. Oh, it was just a buck. A rather interesting colored one as well, she noted. Hmm, too bad she'd already bred. He would've made beautiful kittens too. Though, she couldn't argue with the stock that those in her belly would come from. Giving him little in the way of second thought, Liana twitched her nose before lowering to all fours again and nosing towards the water; finally satisfying her thirst.
