This pertains mainly to those residing in Israel right now, but anyone else is welcome to help. ;.;
On Tuesday, two girls, who are part of the Sabras singing group from Tel Mond, will be coming to stay a week at my house. I think there's like, fifteen total members of the group coming to stay with different host families. It's like hosting for Maccabi games, only less hooking up.
I was wondering if you all knew of anything I could do to make them feel as welcome as possible. Of course we've made the house inviting and cleaned up and bought them welcome gifts and all that jazz. My question is, if you were coming to stay with people you've never met in a foreign country, what would make you feel most at ease? Any kind of household customs or anything that would make them feel welcome?
