What to do with them?

I've put aside a ton of my undies because I no longer care for "Sexii Girl" flower print. (Solid colours all the way baby!) The fabric is still good, so I haven't trashed them, but I'm at a complete loss on what to do with them. Any suggestions?

Also, what do you do with your old clothing and fabrics? Socks?

Old pants and long sleeved shirts, you can cut off the legs or arms and make small pouches and bags out of them. Underwear that is old and worn out is relegated to the cleaning rag pile, same with tshirts and socks. (Socks are great for when you need to clean window blinds!) If you have a pet, old shirts can make good bedding.

My response is the same as Wolfen, turn them into cleaning rags. I would say make a poor man's version of "cheesecloth", but I'm not sure how well old clothing would strain a lot of food related items ...

I honestly can't remember the last time I threw away a pair of panties! ;p
The ones that I don't really wear get pushed to the back and I still wear some period stained ones.. since I don't want to ruin new panties while I'm bleeding (although my cup doesn't leak anymore).

If clothes are still in decent shape I give them to a second hand store but if they are bad quality/stained use them as rags, or sew a couple old clothes together to make a pet blanket.

I donate old clothes except for socks, bras, and underwear. I honestly can't remember the last time I threw away socks, bras, or underwear though! I pretty much wear the same old stuff forever (or until the dryer goblins steal them and I can never find them again). When I am ready to throw some away, I'll probably turn them into toilet paper or a cleaning rag.

I'm so glad I'm not the only woman who can't remember the last time she tossed her unmentionables. This is a first time in a really, really, really, really long time I've tossed them. (And I do the rotation thing too - definitely don't want to wear pretty/sexy undies at the time of the month when I'm not feeling pretty/sexy.)

I like the idea of a quilt. I have my new sewing machine, and a small, cat size quilt would be a good project. :3

If something is stained or torn but has a sweet print I cut a square or two out of it (obviously not out of the stained or torn part) and put it aside for a quilt... and I make sure the squares are the same size. ;p
When I was little my mom made a quilt out of a bunch of my old clothes. It even had some pockets it in from back pockets of old jeans!
It looks super unique and it's a great use for old clothes. For some strange reason pets like to sleep in piles of clothes so they love the blankets!

Yep, I think once my sewing machine, I'll be making some kitty quilts. I want to get them more beds (made from suite cases) and I think undie quilts will be perfect for them. My cat is pervy that way. :3
