Now is as good a time as any to let you all know I am now the new HTDM Guild owner. Technically I became owner as of last night, but I wanted to make a post(s) for the mods' eyes only, finish some avi art for the DTAAY thread, and do some other things. By the time all that was done it was rather late, so I postponed my little "announcement" until now.

I am not going to arbitrarily oust moderators. Unless they ask to be relieved of duty, current moderators will maintain their status. I understand life outside of Gaia can sometimes blind side one before one can prepare for absences.
I will be adding two or three new moderators so that we have more active moderators represented. I will be establishing an application process and I hope the other mods will help me to select the best applicants.
I will not make any drastic changes to the guild. Any changes I do wish to make, I will run by the rest of the mods first. I have ideas that I think would be good for the guild, but I value the input of the others.
I have been a bit of a lurker in the past, although I do occasionally post my own art and participate in the DTAAY thread. I like to draw, but I'm not the greatest by far. I am here, like many of you, to improve my technique. I also own two other small guilds that I founded. I do have to commit some time to managing them. That being said, I expect most of my time will be devoted to this guild as it is larger and more active.
I will of course host the HTDM Guild banner in my other guilds. I will also try to get us affiliated with larger guilds. I will be running a guild contest in the near future...perhaps a little after Thanksgiving. I will also be hosting (me, not the guild mule) a pan guild art contest of my own and will start posting that this weekend. Watch for it, maybe even participate. I will me more visible in the guild now than before...I have ideas for new threads and such. I will do my best to keep this guild great. I hope you all will help in your own way by being active and giving us feedback. It's your guild too!
