Obviously, Christmas is coming around. I'm 14, so I don't have a job, so the only time I have a chance to get something is Christmas. And because this comes only once a year, I need to make sure I get the things that will LAST throughout the year (unlike last few times). And one of the best ways to do this is obviously to get a good game or two (or 3+) to play. So the question is: "What racing game(s) I should ask my parents for?"
The limits:
PS1, PS2, NES, Nintendo DS, PSP [3000 series](possibly), (very unlikely, but still possible, PS3 [on X-Mas list])
$40 or less
Rated Teen or less
NOT - Most Wanted (PS2)(DS), Underground (PS2), Underground 2(PS2)
=======
I know that really limits the choices. Anyway, I need the opinions of the people who have played the games and what they would prefer. That's the reason why I'm not looking at the games on google or simply just writing down the names of some of them. So what do you think I should try getting that fits into those limits?

I say get ProStreet for the challenge. Carbon IMO isn't that great.

I guess you could pick up Hot Pursuit II and it should be very cheap considering how old it is...
If you're gonna get a PS3, you could get Shift. And hey, at least Krazy can have someone to race with from around here if both of you end up being able to connect on PSN. whee

UPDATE: I might get a PSP. Long story short, a friend is offering me one for about 80 - 100 dollars and threw in a game. I might buy it if she has a charger, memory stick, and etc. already with it.

Well, if it's the older ones, you pretty much have something nice for you- custom firmware.

UPDATE: I can't believe I haven't added this yet, but the playstation is also another system. And just to have fun, I'll add the original Nintendo.
As for the PSP, I'm going to get a 3000 series for Christmas (or that's the way my parents make it sound).
