well to help you out north there are 32 species of wolf thats not just to the timber wolf though that is in all i also found this site that might help you out as well

well i just looked on wikipedia and it seems to show that the Timber wolf is a subspecies of they Grey or Gray wolf cauyse i put in Timber wolf and they gave me Gray wolf

then why would it take me to Gray wolves when i type in Timber wolves hmmm? and also never said they were the same dont have to be the same to be a sub species
