Tsura looked thoughtful for a moment trying to decide where to start." Hmm well I was raised by my mother and my grandmother." Women in her family always seemed to outlast the men. "I spent a lot of time around plants with my grandmother, learning about them and how to help her use them," she still didn't feel as wise about that sort of thing as the old woman had been.

The dark haired woman blushed a little as they walked " It was, well jealousy that drove me from home" she admittedly softly. "I have a much younger sibling now and well things changed too much for me becuase of that." She was of a people that were supposed to be family oriented and yet Tsura had never been sable to accept her step father or half sibling into her life, it had been far too painful. " I wonder sometimes if it was the wrong choice even though I'm happy now."

Leshya'e looked at Tsura as she spoke, then smiled and nodded. "Ah...that's a very good skill to have. And grandmother's can be such wonderful teachers. My Granny Caitie taught me everything I know about sewing, quilting and mending." She took on a more somber expression as Tsura continued, "Ah...well, I guess it's not something you can dwell on. We can't go through life always worrying if a decision we made was the right one." She sighed a shook her head, thinking about her sister Magda and the bad decisions that had led her away from the family. "Maybe you'll see them again someday...maybe after some time, things will have changed."

Tsura nodded slowly " True, there is always the future to look to." She smiled a little then because really there was always hope. She turned to look more fully at Leshya'e " Did you enjoy learning those thing from your grandmother?" she asked changing the subject to better things again " I was well never good at the lessons where I had to just be still and watch." which didn't mean she couldn't do basic sewing but that she wasn't particularly skilled and she still pricked herself more often than not.

Leshya'e chuckled, "I wish I could say yes...but, at first anyways, I didn't. I was a really rambunctious kid, always on the go doing one thing or the other. And with having two big brothers, they were always getting me to do things, climbing trees or squeezing into tight spaces." She nodded her head towards her arm, showing off just a few of the many scars she'd gained over the years. "But with some convincing from my mom and elder sister Magda, I finally gave in. And I'm so glad I did. I learned so much more from my grandmother then just sewing."

" Have you thought about what you might be like as a grandmother?" the question just popped right out of Tsura's mouth. Still, possibly rude or not it was a valid one and something she wondered about herself from time to time.

Shy paused for a moment, tilting her head and looking deep in thought. After a few seconds, she looked back at Tsura, "I...I honestly haven't thought about it...I hardly even think of myself as a mother." Although she had raised Ani and cared for her as a daughter, it wasn't quite the same as conceiving and delivering your own flesh-and-blood child. "I'd like to think I'd be good at it...A good teacher and comforter." She chewed on her lip slightly while she continued to ponder the question.

Tsura just nodded as she realized she didn't actually have anything to add to that thought. Instead she enjoyed the walk towards the steadily increasing sound of water. Part of her ought to hate the sound of running water by now what with all the trouble it had been causing lately and yet she couldn't help but be giddy as they got close to it. Maybe she'd dip her feet in for just a minute if it wasn't too cold, feel the water flowing over them and carrying a bit of her away to wherever it ended.

"I could have sworn that Ani would be down here..." Shy thought aloud when they reached the water, "Must have just missed her." Her thought was confirmed when she heard her name being called. Ani had taken a different route back to Varekai and had just witnessed Hadassah's newest message. "Mom! Mom...Where are you?...Haddie had a message!" With an apologetic shrug, Leshya'e reached a hand out to Tsura, "Sorry about that, I best get back and see what's going on. It was nice meeting you though, I hope we can spend time together again soon." She smiled and then turned to jog back to Varekai.
