Shira flies down to the Coliseum, landing gracefully in the center, folding her wings down. She smiles as the crowd roars with the sound of applause. Shira is facing the large gate at the opposite end of the Coliseum, awaiting the beast to come out... Finally, the gate lifts and out slithers a giant serpent, two sabre-like fangs protruding from under it's upper lip. It slowly slithers up to Shira, curling it's 50' long body into a coil and rearing up it's head, hissing furiously at the Dark Angel. "This arena shall be stained with you blood....." it hisses. Shira smirks. "It will not be my blood that will stain this earth..... It will be yours.." She holds her staff tightly with both hands.

((Seven fighters is the limit for the team. Let the battle BEGIN!))

((Later if I decide to take part and if I can assume it won't be taxing with few posts/day, I'll have Tor pop by. (deleting this post and making a new one if no others have been) I'd also ask how your character didn't die the moment it saw the great beast due to its death gaze attack that is passive.))

((Actually the bassalisk has many different gazes, including a hypnotizing gaze given to it by the Christian religion. Such is seen in Adam and Eve. The Death gaze was given to it by either the Romans, or the Greeks... Whichever one thought up Medusa.. Such is seen in Hercules or even in the Harry Potter series where it turns the person to a stone-like state. Death.))

He stood in the rows and rows of the arena, looking down upon the dirt circle before him. He looked back and forth between the two creatures within it and pondered whether he should help or not. He ran his index finger along the handle of his nodachi as he thought, his gaze now affixed to his feet.
