Zantty (LOL, I almost answered this in Japanese. XD ) (that's a good sign XD) weird. not a terribly exciting item though. i wouldn't try to save up that much gold just to get a stupid pen confused

I was checking through all the other NPC's profiles and noticed that (Edmund and Rufus have awesome profiles) but also that a handful of people, same group too, managed to add themselves as friends to those NPCs.
I tried replacing the item grant link ID with another NPC's profile ID and no go.

N They've found out what was going on. S Here is the truth to the pen. New users are receiving a welcome email series when they sign up. One of the emails teaches new users how to find friends and they add Gambino as a friends. To thank the user he grants them a pen. The volume of pens entering the system will be very high. See? Problem solved. ^^
