Brody didnt expect anything from behind, and paid for it with a suprise introduction to the tunrbuckle pad. He slid down onto the mat and held his face.

Bad went to the outside and went to his knees holding his ribs, now taking his time to be on the outside.

Cross jumped back up to his feet after the clothesline connected and went to close in on Brody and attempt to pull his head up and lock in a dragon sleeper.

Brody had been in one of Cross holds before, and would have fought to get out had he been paying attention. Instead, he found his legs contorted and his neck stretched with his vision up at the ceiling. Not knowing any real counters, he hoped he'd be able to outlast Cross.

Cross had a big smile on his face as he locked in the hold and looked out to the crowd. The smile was confident to say the least, almost.... Cocky. That's never a good sign.

Not seeing himself outlasting Cross this time, Brody tried to throw his weight to the right, hoping for some kind of disruption that would let him get away.
