This is particularly true to myself. After four years in high school, I'm just about half-way through my first year in college and still have not the slightest clue about what i'm going to do...
There is a local ROTC in the nearby University, and it is very intriguing. Everyone that i have known that has joined the service has gone through the enlisted route, and i am curious about what it would be like to take the path of an Officer.
But that means commitment... I am not afraid to serve my country, but I rather enjoy the prospects of civilian life.
Dreams i have include getting a job i love and enjoy, getting married, and having a family i can watch grow old before my eyes... (i may be just starting college but the years go by quick... <_<)
I know that joining ROTC won't hurt these hopes of mine, it might even help it! But for now, i have no idea about where i want to take my future...
These life changing commitments are such a stress inducer! stressed

Unlike Wolf's advice (seeing how it sounded cheesy and prob no help at all, no offense to her whatsoever) I suggest going to ROTC direction. If it was availible to me like it is to you, I'd go that way. Those dreams of yours will come, patence will be key though.
