What classes do you think the adults in HP were best at? The teachers were obviously skilled at the courses that they taught, but how did they do in the other classes while they were students? What about the DE's and members of the Order?
Here's the course list, for your convenience. Elective courses are starred. Transfigurations Charms Potions Defense Against the Dark Arts Astronomy Herbology History of Magic *Ancient Runes *Arithmancy *Divination *Muggle Studies *Care of Magical Creatures

Dumbledore was obviously beyond amazing in every subject! xd
McGonagall strikes me as a Hermione-type student; perfect grades in everything except Divination. McG criticised Trelawney, so she clearly doesn't put much faith in the art.
Snape is another person that I think was good at almost everything. Potions and hexes are clearly his best skills, and I think Transfiguration might have been his worst because I don't recall him every transfiguring anything in the books.
Lockhart was good at Charms and...maybe he was a Divination prodigy since he was good at making rubbish up! rofl
Sirius strikes me as someone good at practical magicks (Tranfiguration, Charms, Defense, etc) and not as skilled at things where he needs to sit quietly and analyse (ancient runes, arithmancy, history, etc) because he's a man of action. Slughorn wanted Sirius for his collection, so perhaps he was good at Potions too.
I'll post more later!

I think that Arthur Weasley did well in Transfiguration, and his favorite class was probably Muggle Studies.
Molly Weasley strikes me as the kind who did well in Potions and Charms.
We know Lily was good at Potions, but I think she was also good at Charms.
If Hagrid hadn't been expelled from Hogwarts, I think he would have been good at Care of Magical Creatures (if he wasn't good at it since he isn't the greatest teacher, then it would've been his favorite class)
And those are the only ones that I can come up with off the top of my head.

Min: I think you McGonagall show the same contempt for Divination, since you think Lockhart was good at it because he makes up rubbish! It's not a rubbish course, you know, it just had a rubbish teacher. A rubbish teacher who I love, of course, I thought she was great!
Anyways, to the task at hand:
I think that Hagrid, aside from Care for Magical Creatures, would have probably shown some skill in Herbology, since he ended up being the groundskeeper, and I think that he would have been good at Charms as well, because it seems that he fits the general image put forth by the other students who were good at it. You know, kind, sort of bumbling at times...
I think that Bellatrix was probably really good at Astronomy. I'm not sure why, but she strikes me as the kind of person who looks at the sky a lot.
I bet the Sprout was probably really good at Potions and Snape was really good at Herbology, since those subjects share so much material. I mean, you have to be good with your plants to know how to make potions.
I don't think that Sirius was good a Potions, though. Slughorn wanted him because of his lineage, not his skills, and he doesn't really seem the type to enjoy sitting around a cauldron. I agree with Min that he was good at the practical magics, because he was a action-then-thought kind of guy.
