The VERY Basics: (things everyone knows about)
-Aim for the tail end of the PCs in roadblocks -Use pursuit breakers only when you need them -Do NOT drive right behind the police. They may hit the breaks and stop you completely
Basics (some basic things you may not know)
-Turn your minimap from static to rotation. It makes it easier to tell which side of the road to be on when coming across a spike strip -Keep away from the walls. Some areas are glitchy and may stop you randomly -Use the time freezer (w/e it is) when coming across roadblocks -Spare some nitrous, don't use it all at once -If you lose a front wheel, keep going. If you lose a back one, give up
Advanced (a few things that I've kept to myself)
-The best cooling spots in the game: 1.When in a pursuit, go to the bus station go past it and onto the road that separates you from the city. Keep going until you find a small gap to the right of the road. Sneak in, get into the hiding zone, and you're safe. The police usually cannot go in, but there has been only one time where one has gotten in with me. 2.Find the road that transitions from the boardwalk of the city to the construction place. Go over the bridge, around/under the lighthouse, down the road, and turn right at the first stop. You will see a motor store. Look across from the store and you will see a gap to the right of the road. Go in while the police can't.

Those will help. Performance first, aesthetics later.

or better start with Carbon since those cops are less aggressive than MW.

Don't push the reset button when you're starting to get boxed in, because that'll instantly have you busted.
Carbon, while having less aggressive police, has it harder to get away from from how the city is set up. At least from how I remembered it. The cooldown or hiding spots weren't even actual hiding spots as some are in poorly placed areas. neutral
