Do any of you use either of these on your hair? If so, how do you use it?

I bought both but I use the baby powder more. I can't afford "gross oily hair that hates you" shampoo so instead I've resorted to smelling like a soft, small child. It helps a little but it seemed like it helped more when my friend Catherine did it for me. I ******** suck at life. crying

maybe you're not using enough / in the right places.

experiment on a day when you don't have to go anywhere so you can look as gross as you want. :>

my friend had greasy hair and she had to stop using conditioner all together for a month before her hair went back to normal.

I have bangs, and they can get gnarly pretty fast...
I find that if I keep the hair off my face (put a headband in, clip them back) it helps a lot.

This sounded insane to me but I googled it and I'm tempted to try it now.

it doesn't work as well on dark hair.
i only use it to touch my bangs up if they look gross.

I have a friend who covers her hair in it, then sleeps on it and combs it all out in the morning. Her hair always looks really good to me, but I have no idea how naturally oily it is compared to your or anything. But it is a darker brown, and she never comes to school looking white/gray, so maybe' she's got something there.

Why not just wash your hair?

Oh yay~ the baby powder tip helps. :3
They have dry shampoo's as well, but I find they don't help as much as make the problem worse.
Your best bet is the baby powder/whatever other method truly works.
You can try tying your hair away from your face at night while you sleep, that's where the greasy fun usually begins.
I used to shampoo just my bangs over the sink and dry them out -- they would be clean and the rest of my hair would look nice (it was clean too, just not greasy like my bangs!)
Try blotting your forehead if it gets oily, so you can stop it from getting onto your hair.
Don't touch your hair a lot.
Try rinsing your hair with cold water before you get out of the shower -- it sort of acts as a "pore closer"; when your head is warm, the oil produces more quickly. :3

Or in the end, it might be completely hormonal and stop after a while.
Eez what happened to me~
