Read the stickies, for one thing.
Just talk to him and ask what he likes. Once you know what he likes, you two can experiment with positions and things you're both comfortable with. We aren't psychic and can't read his mind - you won't know until you talk to him.

For the most part every position brings the man about the same pleasure. As him if he likes one better then the other.
And if you are uncomfortable with bondage then don't participate in it. Some fantisies just have to say inside his head and you have every right to say no when he asks for something you are not comfortable with. Maybe in the future you will become more comfortable with it, maybe not but if you don't want to at the moment then don't.

Well..if you don't mind my opinion...I think by what he likes and what you don't like is one thing...if you don't like to be tied up do the opposite..you tie him up that may make oyu more comfortable in your self and im him so you have control over the him.
