And going to see the doctor in a few minutes.
I've had a temperature for almost a week, a head ache that comes and goes (I rarely have headaches usually), I've been really tired and exhausted. I also haven't been able to eat properly, because I've been feeling nauseous. I really hope it's not H1N1. D: Wish me luck!

So the private expensive doctor said the lymphnodes in my throat are swollen and my neck's stiff and all the other symptoms point to a viral infection. Yay. So I got some blood drawn and labs done and yes, viral infection it is. I got the rest of the week off from work and she told me to get lots of rest, fluids and have only a few lights on because bright lights are causing my head aches. :0
Oh, and what I have is: Infection acuta respiratoria superior non specificata. W00t for Latin. <3
If I suddenly get a high fever or my cough comes back or my head ache moves or becomes worse the virus has mutated and come back with a vengeance. If any of these happen I have to go back for a control and possibly get some medication. Oh, and bronchitis might also be something I might get if the virus changes. D: So I'll just be chillin' and relaxing for the next 4 days and hopefully it'll go away.

Dark_Mana Infection acuta respiratoria superior non specificata. That sounds like some smartass thing a doctor would diagnose you with if he didn't have a clue what it was.

Oh, poor Mana... I bet part of the reason why you got it was the lack of sleep...

Seer Misconception Dark_Mana Infection acuta respiratoria superior non specificata. That sounds like some smartass thing a doctor would diagnose you with if he didn't have a clue what it was. It's a viral infection, it's hard to specify what it is exactly she said (apart from it being in my respiratory system) without more expensive labs. D: If it were a bacterial infection the labs would've been more accurate since some of the err... results would not be normal but abnormally high and I would've been even more sick if it were a bacterial infection.

Kas - you might be right. Almost 6 weeks without proper sleep could be the reason my immune system was down and enabled a virus to come get me. sad
I just slept for almost 12 hours and I'm feeling alright. Though hot and feverish still, but the head ache's gone. Yay for dark rooms and no bright lights. 4laugh

Mana: 6 weeks? I'm sure I'm right. Having less sleep = being weaker = being more likely to catch an infection

I wonder if you could send your medical bills to your neighbors?

I wonder if you could send your medical bills to your neighbors? Haha, oh god that would be awesome. I haven't seen or heard of them in a few weeks now. Though now that I've been off and trying to sleep for a few days (in the mornings) there's been some odd like hammering and yelling and stuff at like 10-11 am. I'm not sure where it's coming from, but it's not nice to wake up to it. x.X

And yeah, I'm gonna jump on the "too little sleep = bad stuff" bandwagon too.

I'm feeling slightly better every day. But seems like my mum's got what I had/have now. She's been very exhausted and tired and having head aches constantly. D:
