I had totally forgotten, until recently, about a little thing called The Hero Machine, which is basically a Flash program used to create characters like superheroes and whatnot. Actually, since the last time I mucked around with it they've apparently added many different versions of the program.

At any rate, they're free to use and they're actually pretty decent, bodies and items and whatnot drawn in a western comic style. It's good for creating more serious characters like this:

The best one, with by far the most versatility and customization, is the 2.5 version, which has all sorts of libraries of all sorts of body parts, clothes, items, familiars, and other stuff, as well as a larger color selection and even transparency options.


At any rate, if you just can't seem to find a decent anime picture, or don't like using those, or are too lazy to go looking for some, then you can amuse yourself for a bit with this thing. In fact, go ahead and post some creations if you feel like it, just for giggles.

Yes, because clearly your opinion is the final word of law on all things, including those that are entirely subjective, and pictures of pre-pubescent-looking schoolgirls, sans unnaturally large breasts, showing off their panties is superior in every fashion to everything else when used as a character profile picture.

We all have our opinions, but we don't have to share them at unnecessary or otherwise inappropriate times. I never said the program produces beautiful art, only that it's made for making character portraits and that, in this capacity, it provides a decent number of options for doing so, and such is the point of the thread. Let's keep it that way, instead of degrading it into an exercise in idiotic and pointless flaming.
