Being in his favorite childhood spot was comforting to him. It lulled him into a sense of security, of peace. The smell of the flowers was powerful, masking anything outside the meadow. Anything that might be hiding in the trees. Anything that might be watching. Anything that might be hungry and waiting for a meal. OOC: Shugo is a romantic. I don't know, maybe he'll need saving or something and fall in love. *dreamy sigh* Anywho, play off that as you will. X3

Renu as hunting. He hadn't eaten in many days now, as he hadn't had time. His travels took him further away from his land, and it seemed the land got prettier as he went. The beauty of it all sickened him. He'd rather cold, white snow to this any day. A few minutes later he came across a field full of flowers. Renu hid among the bushes near the edge, looking out at something there.
He couldn't quite place what it was, but it was clearly alive and therefor could be eaten. Hyeetah were his only limit, and so he prayed that it was some odd-colored zebra. Renu poked his head out and braced himself. He lept out of the bushes at the thing and pinned it down.

Shugo couldn't believe he was about to die. He had been sure that lions didn't eat Hyeetah, but if one was desperate enough, Shugo was sure it could happen. At least he would be dieing here, in his favorite place in the whole world. He had always wanted to die here anyways.
Opening his eyes to meet his doom, Shugo was shocked to see another Hyeetah pinning him down. His parents had always frightened him with bedtimes tales of Demonics gobbling up litte pups, which had effectively prevented him from sneaking off at night, but they had never been more than stories. Until now, that is. But Shugo just couldn't believe it. A hyeetah, killing one of their own kind? Eating one of their own kind? It was unheard of! "Please," Shugo whimpered, "Don't kill me." Maybe he would be able to reason the other Hyeetah. Maybe, somehow, he'd be able to talk his way out of this.OOC: I know right? It should be their theme song! X3 heart

Ren closed his mouth and stopped baring his fangs. He grumbled at the fact it was a Hyeetah. A nice, tasty zebra was what he wanted. "I'm not going to kill you. I don't particularly enjoy cannibalism." He made a movement to get off the boy then stopped. If he couldn't eat, he might as well take his mind off the hunger.
"So. Who are you, anyways. And what are you doing out here?" Judging by his looks, the male was about his age. Someone their age would usually have a mate, and be training pups. There didn't appear to be any here at all.
