The story:
Shirayuki lives on an island, isolated from the rest of the world. Life had always been peaceful, and she'd had a carefree childhood. While the rest of the world waged an all out war, the island seclusion, and high defenses led its inhabitants to believe that they alone were safe from the perils the rest of the world faced. Naive though this delusion was. Shirayuki had always wished to leave the island, and see the world beyond it, but due to the circumstances had never thought it possible. But one day her dream came to fruition.
