You have all introduced yourselves, so we know who you are. But what is it that makes us, us. What about you seperates you from the rest? What makes you an individual? Fom me it would be the way I think. I look at everything like I'm solveing a puzzle, always anylizing things and people, and trying to put the pieces together. Also my careing nature, ever since I was a child I did not find someone getting hurt to be funny like the other kids. I always try to help people, in many differant ways. As well as that the world constantly amazes me, just today I was in a liquer store and I thought "wow, the very concept of a convenience store is truely unheard of in the world of nature." What about you, what makes you differant?

There are factors that mold us to be who we are, but we also come with our own unique personality. Family, friends, the people around us effect us. The same goes for other things such as environment, religion, traditions, and more. We are our own unique butterfly. I'm different from my brothers and parents. Even identical twins are different. I learned about this in Psychology class. whee
I'm a kind person. I also have other parts of my personality. Too many to list. xd I'm not a big social butterfly and I'm a really shy person if you meet me face to face. I've always been really shy since I was little. I used to play by myself outside at the school yard and I only had one friend in elementary school. I'm always thinking. No off switch really. I like watching mystery stuff and trying to piece together the facts like in the game Clue. I have an endless imagination and a creative side.
I don't know. I guess my creative side was born from my childhood. Since being shy and a big thinker gave birth to my creative side. I suffered from nightmares a lot when I was younger too. I still have some nightmares here and there. I guess what others fear I don't really fear. Take snakes for an example. I was exposed to a real snake in first grade. Our neighbor had a pet boa. He would let me play with it. I found it cute while the other kids that lived around feared it.
Everyone is unique in their own ways. If we were all the same then life would be very different around us. My creative side would find that being the same would be boring.

Interesting, I wonder how much nightmares have to do with creativity. I too had many nightmares as a child. Not just nightmares but also I would see things when ever I closed my eyes. Monsters and creatures of quite distorted form haunted me for a long time, and still do sometimes. I have created ways to dismiss them now a days, but they still get to me once in a while. As well as that, I too do not fear certain things most would be afraid of. I have never been afraid of being killed or hurt by another person, as well as a few other things. I am however very afraid of some rather wierd things, such as the things that grow out of a potato when you leave it for to long, or almost any fungus you can't eat. As well as things that look nasty, even if they aren't.

Speaking about nightmares and creativity there is a woman that sits next to me in my design class. She told the class that her daughter would suffer from nightmares when she was little. Her daughter is an artist now. There might be some connection, but I'm not a professional on the subject. I don't remember all the nightmares I had. Only a small few. I do remember waking up screaming or crying in my sleep. The small amount of nightmares I remember would haunt me for weeks at a time.
I never really feared about getting hurt. I'm not afraid of getting hurt. I just don't like pain. Pain hurts. As for death, I never feared death either. I find death natural and that it happens to everyone. I also see death as the ultimate peace because you're not in pain anymore. More like a peaceful slumber.
I like mushrooms. They're delicious, well the ones that are edible. That fear is actually helping you. 3nodding I just wish my dad had a sense of when something went bad. sweatdrop He tends to be the one to eat moldy bread and cuts off the parts with mold on it. I can't watch him eat it. Makes me sick to my stomach.
Do you have problems trying new foods? Like from other cultures? I used to be afraid of sushi, but now I love the stuff.

What makes me me, are several factors. First of all, my ADHD, because of that i feel that life is mostly boring, my life at least, which is why participate in roleplays on Gaia. Second is my analytical nature, i have to have a plan for everything, even for something as simple as going to a friends house. i guess you coud call that OCD but i don't. I am slightly bipolar in some ways, like if i see someone get hurt i might laugh at it at first but then i feel horrible and want to help them. I'm also very empathetic, i feel peoples pain, whether it's emotional or physical. My clinical depression adds a more somber and serious side to my life.

I don't fear death, I see it as the event that will awnser so many questions about life, but that in death I will lose identity and thought. The idea of being unable to think scares me a lot. I don't have problems with new foods, but I can be picky sometimes.
Honestly vamp I think that how you perceive your life makes a great differance in whether its boring or not. I to have ADHD, but when I'm out doing things like walking around the city with friends I'm not bored at all. Really, I find sitting at home quite boreing, and while roleplaying is fun, it can never really satisfy me. Isn't it funny, be both have ADHD but are attention is drawn by different things.

Hmm what makes me is such a strange question, this changes like the moon for me depending on the day and the mood. So I guess realy mine is my mood/emotion. My mind never focuses for too long and usually I have to be doing several things at once yet sometimes it can focus on one thing like drawing for hours at a time. Sometimes I'm happy and then sometimes the depression kicks in, it's a fact of life and I'm cool with it. I'm not usually around huge crowed due to tha fact that i become lost, almost losing myself in a whirlwind of emotions that just arn't mine. I fall under the empathic catagory as well though only emotional.
