In the world of Cascadia...there were few races, unique races never seen in or has even appeared in existence, thanks to the demi goddess they have been able to reproduce in number, however even while serving the goddess in this strange world they have a grudge against each other.
Krivorok:
A race that had been created due to the overflow of negative energy that was pouring out from the constant conflict between darkness and light, however existing in a deep part of the void. Born in the void they were able to manipulate their abilitys although at first sight appearing as humans they can choose to transform with the powers of the void in a process they call "Overleak", in which they use the same energy that keeps them alive as a power source to amplify their strengths. Some of them may age up to a certain limit, but when they reach their limit in age they are forced to die, but experinced Krivoroks have figured out a way to revive themselves by using the remaining negative energys that they saved up to revive once more, thus living for long periods of time. Despite not able to cast elemental magic, some Krivoroks may have the ability to manipulate their body parts to transform into weapons, as well as use unknown powers such as to manipulate a silver flame. Krivoroks are said to be the become the scales of balance of this world.
Moroi:
In the world there are two kinds of vampires who exist in secrecy from humans. The Moroi are living vampires, good vampires who wield elemental magic and don't kill when seeking the blood they need to survive. The strigoi are undead vampires, immortal and twisted, who kill when they feed. Moroi are born, strigoi are created- forcibly or by choice. Through evil means. Strigoi can be good in other situations only if it involves the one they "love". It was only by myth that Strigois could love. When Strigois are changed they lose all emotions, they are dead but living.
Vampire legends do NOT effect strigois. Strigois can be in sunlight, they like garlic but one thing that can kill them if they are stabbed in the heart with a pure silver stake. Moroi's can not be killed unless being turned into a strigoi. Moroi's and Strigois were brought into this world by an ancient alchemist who was experimenting trying to create the ultimate indomitable creature. Instead she created monsters and heavenly beautiful demons.
Moroi's and Strigois. Were born into an unknown world and still try to survive with other creatures..
Human:
Humans are an ancient race, fabled to be made of clay. They are special in their own right, but for the most part have been shunned, considered the lesser beings among the races. Despite being shunned by their counterparts, their spirit is never broken. Humans are very intelligent and a number had been blessed to control the elements of nature and magic. They are also gifted with being able to work with metal. Over the classifications of the average human, the main two divisions are Elementals and Non-Elementals. Elementals have control over some or all elements, but have virtually no magical potential. Non-Elementals cannot control elementals naturally, but they have been gifted with high magical potential. Almost all Non-Elementals can use magic, some need to unluck their power, and some are just naturally gifted.
Toa Toa:
Alter:
The Alters are beings of intervention and thus follow a different standard of "race" than any other. This mysterious order is born of torn souls that have splintered away from the original host, entirely through outside influence and originally created by and from Krivoroks as the ultimate form of torture against each other as essentially a newborn Alter is the very same as that in which it was created from, often resulted in the Alter's demise shortly after their deed is completed. It would span millenniums before an Alter proved capable of things other than fighting, such as thought and consciousness, simply due to the short amount of time an Alter was capable of remaining alive under Krivoroks... Today, the current Alters are an offshoot of the original Krivorok alters whom retained enough individuality to flee to sanctuary -most of which have long since been extinct, both Kriv and Kriv'Alter- that thrive from their creation amongst humanity (a majority of the current Alters are created from human souls) and even the newly born Alters spanning the sentient races of the Cascadian world, far from the hell of their origins. However this does not imply that other races approve of their existence. After a brief amount of time, Alters begin to fade away from the shadow-image forced upon them at creation, and begin to become someone that reflects them as the newfound image they will grow to become. A majority of Alters are transmodified into a human being, but retain both strength in the spirits and ancestry of the Krivoroks and the ingenuity and willpower of humans, regardless of initial status. Alters retain individual strength, ability and appearance, discarding the shadow-like appearance of their former soul. Even though they exist as fragmented souls, they have transcending with strength unmatched in soul and heart. -ironically the two things left uncreated for them- Alters are not vengeful beings, but retain emotions of unrest to the return of the Krivoroks and the demonic manipulations of the Moroi. They have found a newborn alliance amongst the Za'al and retain neutrality amongst the sentient races, regardless of the way they feel in return. The only fear maintained by these brave souls is the fear of falling to the influence of other races, an extended history of this amongst a majority of species with even a hint of magical ability. Alters however are not wary of creating others amongst them to bolster their stagnant numbers. This is performed by simply slashing an enemy with any form of weapon, regardless of intent. They are instinctively drawn to fellow fragmented spirits and wish solely to remain alive as a free people, to discover their own natures and and expand upon the nothingness and anguish in which they were created.
Za'al-Ken:
Existing outside of conventional inter-universal time lines, the Za'al-ken are essentially an ageless race, existing outside of most known laws of space-time. The only exception,is that they do age, rather slowly however, and only under specific circumstances. Because of their cosmic ancestry, the Za'al disassociate themselves from whatever society they spawn in, in whatever universe. That being said, they are capable of manipulating Aura, also known as 'life-force' or 'souls' (comparable also to chakra, Ki, etc.) and can use this to create new life, manifest the aura in a physical form, or to be used to connect to other aura, thus, taking life away. Since Za'al do not occur 'naturally' there are few ways to create more of them. To be born a Za'al is a special occasion, but it means rapid manifestation of a large amount of aura, which is impossible to achieve without already having a large amount of Za'al to help. The only other way to become a Za'al is to 'turn'. Very similar to vampires, Za'al can 'turn' humans or other organisms into Za'al, by manipulating the genetics within the aura, and warping it to that of a Za'al. This is not practiced often. Za'al are most commonly, but are not limited to humanoid. There are often Animal-Za'al, with the same abilities as human ones. Animal Za'al are capable of human speech, and telepathy (all Za'al are capable of telepathy though, it's just convenient for the animal Za'al).
Liymi (Lee - Meh):This is played by the guilds creator.
Liymi was once a normal human girl, until she reached the age of twelve. She was introduced to her father once again who explained to her that she would be destined to restore Cascadia to its former glory. A mystic by trade, the man used what magicks were left inside of him to seal the girl in a castle tower, where she would never be able to leave from. Bonded by chains to the world, she assumed the responsibility bestowed upon her to heal the world, despite its many inhabitants of all size and shapes fighting for control. It has been three centuries since she was placed in the tower, and none have seen or heard from her. Fewer can say what she looks like, though rumors surface that simply looking into her eyes can mend a man's soul.
