From the outside of the Crevice of the village a group of three people were seen walking over to the entrance. Because of the current situation of the village the guards were on edge and spread thinly to ensure that nothing else happened on the village, it would be a tragedy after all. " Don't worry father, I'll try to find a way to get to the shrine. I have, after all, the Sand Element. There must be some technique that allows me to move vast amounts of sand, or something of the sorts to access the Shrine and learn the techniques." The young redhead spoke to his parents as he ran toward the gates to confront the guards and to be let into the village, into his home. Two guards stood in the entrance of the Crevice as Axel approached it and stared at them. " Uh yes, we'd like to come back inside our village now." He'd say to the two men, showing them his bracelet with the Sunagakure headband.
" All shinobi are to aid in the rebuilding of the Village." One of the two guards told the young Genin, he just cocked his head to the side and stared at them. " What are you talking about...?" He asked confused and a little nervous because of the ringing of their words. " The village has been attacked by a lone rouge shinobi. He has brought great damage to the village's infrastructure but the loss of human life was contained thanks to the actions of the Kazekage and various other shinobi, both from the village and foreigners." The guard explained what had happened to the Genin, though that information was more of a luxury because there was nothing he could do whether he knew the details or not. " It is recommended that you go aid in the construction of the village; every shinobi is supposed to do so. " The guard said to the young genin and he nodded, running through the crevice and heading inside the village.

All the sandstone architecture, the spicy meals, and the foreign customs had left a deep imprint in Yamatano, but what had gotten him the most was the diligence of their shinobi and people. Even in the wake of a horrific attack, everyone had come together to do their part, and had more or less gotten back to the way life had been. Their tenacity, especially in the constant, unforgiving heat, was something Yamatano would have to incorporate into his Oinin duties.
Reminiscing over, Yamatano reviewed the instructions from the courier hawk he had received the previous day. The Mizukage was to be signing some kind of treaty in the land of lighting, and Yamatano was to participate. "Too bad I decided to stick around, I could've traveled back with Kensei's unit." Yamatano mused, wondering what the squad would say when he appeared in their hometown. Taking a large gulp of water from his waterskin, Yamatano ran out the gate into the vast desert of the Land of Wind, making a beeline for the land of lightning, his final destination, and the place where Lord Mizukage would be waiting.[Exit to Land of Lightning] “…Must first find out how to get past me.” Fiercely Loyal || Determined || Protective || Aspiring OininChakra Points: 74/74 Exploding Smoke Grenade: 5 Makibishi: 20 Shuriken: 10 Light Bombs: 5 Kunai: 0 Ninja Wire: 100 Ft. David's wagon rolled into the massive crevice leading out of Sunagakure, and he growled to himself at what he saw. It was stilled mid morning, before the sun would fully rise for the day, and anyone in the village who needing to leave on errands of any sort were trying to get out now to beat the heat. Which of course meant that the crevice was jam packed with people, lined up from the gate back to the village proper as they filed through, each individual person having to be inspected before they could leave.
Not one to be patient and wait for anything at the best of times, David jerked the reins of his ox, so that it would keep going, straight up the middle of the crevice between the lines of people. It would be an hour or two of waiting if he stayed there, and he wasn't about to accept that. He studiously ignored the glares coming from the people waiting in line as he passed, and the shouts of any who ended up being pushed aside by his ox. It was their own fault for not being more aware of their surroundings.
"Oi, you have to wait in line!" one of the guards called out as they reached the end of the crevice and were spotted, the same guard marching over to try and force David to go back to "His proper place". Having none of that, David simply kept the cart rolling, running through a stream of hand signals while not even deigning to look at the man directly.
Stunned, the man's mind automatically interpreted the signals, as well as what rank they indicated of the user. And sure, he knew that anyone could learn and use those signals, but more important than the signals themselves, simply demanding passage for himself and his companion, was the fact that the ANBU guard concealed above the gate proper had not appeared to strike the man down for using those signals, as it was illegal to do so without the proper rank. That could only mean then that the ANBU knew who this man was, and that he was in fact... "My apologies Kazekage-sama. Be safe on your travels." he called out, giving the deepest bow he could without hurting himself, before hurriedly going back to his post when he realized David was quite simply ignoring him at this point.
Said man had in fact stopped a short distance from the gate, both to wait for Enro to finish getting through the tangle, and to fish a wide brimmed straw hat from his satchel and place it on his head. Technically he could make a sand umbrella or something to protect him from the sun, but he was rather enjoying his new look, and felt like going the more fashionable route of simply wearing a hat.

Tenrousei Enro || Genin || Sealing|| Yohei|| Sunagakure mornings were Enro's preferred time of the day, when the sun was not oppressing the village beneath waves of heat. There were times during the day when his clothes would stick uncomfortably to his sweat-covered flesh. His mornings were often spent training and accomplishing as many outdoors tasks as he could so when the sun reached its apex he could spend his time within the library studying the history and architecture of the village. Assimilating into the militaristic lifestyle wasn't difficult but there were certain cultural differences that easily identified the towering man as a foreigner, such as his frequent haggling in the marketplace for cheaper fruits and vegetables. The barren sea of sand made it difficult - no virtually impossible- for the people of the Land of Wind to farm like the residents of the Rice Country and this single fact made the prices of any vegetation to sky-rocket.
Enro unconsciously mimicked the low growl of his accomplice as the sight of crowded crevice came into view. His dark amber eyes narrowed and searched for the best place to maneuver the wagons, resigned to waiting behind the great crowd. That is until the young man urged his wagon forward, bullying his way between the crowds and drawing the ire of the citizens. His own passage was mostly unmolested because he glowered down at the citizens, his amber eyes burning like fresh cinders beneath the shade of his hood and stifling the cries of outrage.
When the guard cried out, Enro glanced at the teenager wondering how he would react. With no clue on how his accomplice would react he instructed the oxen to slow down a little. However, when the brown-haired man flashed off a series of hand signals the guard balked and hurriedly called out an apology. The simple word 'Kazekage' silenced much of the crowd and whispers carried the effect farther outward as the reputed strongest of Sunagakure continued onward in his wagon. Then, the silence was broken by Enro's gruff laughter at the guards embarrassed expression and the non-nonchalance of the Kazekage. Like the former soldiers scars, his laughter wasn't pretty but it was resonant, controlled, and above all mocking. The guards face would redden more beneath his laughter as Enro urged the oxen after the Kazekage.
"You've grown a little bit since I last saw you, sir," Enro would call once he reached David. Any sign of laughter was gone now save for a slight upturn of his lips that indicated some residual mirth towards the situation.

David actually allowed a small grin to cross his face at Enro's first words since they'd met. Grown a bit. That was one way to put it. "I drink my milk." he replied, a smirk giving away the joking nature of the claim. Flicking his reins again, David set his cart rolling once more, heading into the desert, aimed down the main path through the country. Merchant's Road.
Now that they were mostly alone, and the cows were fine to navigate the rest of the path more or less automatically, he leaned back in the seat, letting the reins go slack in his lap as he cocked his head around to see Enro. "So, how do you like Suna so far? Not many from Rice consider it a comfortable vacation spot, much less a new permanent residence." His statement was accentuated by a wave at the terrain around them, the hard packed sands of Suna already giving way to the rolling desert. All he really knew of Rice country was that it was fertile, some of the best farmland among the elemental nations, while in Suna one was lucky if they could keep a cactus growing without specialized ninjutsu. Quite a shift for anyone to make, in his opinion.

Tenrousei Enro || Genin || Sealing|| Yohei|| "Heh" was Enro's only response to the Kazekage's jest while he pondered on the actual method he used to develop so quickly in such a short time frame. It was likely some sort of medical procedure though his own medical experience was limited to surgery not the strange procedures the medical shinobi were so adept at performing. It was a very interesting field however and he was told he had an affinity for the medical arts.
When the Kazekage turned around to question him, Enro shrugged his shoulders. "It's a little warmer than I'm used to, I'll admit. I came here more out of necessity rather than choice," he answered.
