I know Jazz musicians can be some of the most cool cats out there, but we can also get real flustered if our playing sounds lame, our solos are boring, we get injured and can't play, or our instruments break. So complain away.
I'll start, right now I got two freaking cold sores on my lips making really hard to play my horn (trumpet) and damn near impossible to play in the higher octaves.

I need a new freakin Tenor i was a moron for using it for marchingband... It's a dream but i'd love to have a pro horn for christmas...

The university took away my band. Okay, it was an orchestra, but still. Same deal. Now I have no incentive to practice and my chops are gone!

(Sorry if I offend anyone with this...but...)
I've been having trouble with my band's lead singer/lyricist, she's having mood swings and generally acting like a female lead singer, yelling, being completely irrational and insulting, and throwing things (I thought she was the only one until I saw Siri of the Siri Dyal band in California). OY...

So our lead singer and lead guitarist was sick today. argh!
And WHY on EARTH to all shows have to be at christmas?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH OCTOBER????
And I need a new keyboard. SO BADLY.

It is now up to the police and the good people of Melbourne to hand my trumpet in to the proper authorities. I can now relax and try and work out what the hell I'm going to tell school.

I need a new pianist because mine is going back to Japan! crying
Parts of my horn are held on with tape and/or elastics. sweatdrop
And, finally, the music department at my college sucks horribly. The department chair has an entire tree up his a**, and the band director is a hermaphrodite on Valium.
