I probably should feel guilty about owning a leather coat and a leather wallet and a few miscellaneous things made of leather. I feel guilty about not feeling guilty, but not enough to get rid of my coat. Oh, I guess I should feel bad about NOT BEING A VEGAN OH GOD
PETA is a huge crazy biased cult. Yes, animals are abused. Should you take every word PETA says at face value? Pfft. Nope.
More leather than not comes from cows that were not slaughtered simply for the leather.
Fur, however, is usually the result of hunted animals so I don't wear it.

Gallows and Guillotines I probably should feel guilty about owning a leather coat and a leather wallet and a few miscellaneous things made of leather. I feel guilty about not feeling guilty, but not enough to get rid of my coat. Oh, I guess I should feel bad about NOT BEING A VEGAN OH GOD Actually to just throw it away would be wasting it. Wasting it would be worse than using it.

My belts are leather, and I think thats about it. They really need to be leather for me, though, because I need to wear them almost every time I wear a pair of jeans, so I need something durable.
I've always refused to wear real fur. Then again, I don't like the look of fur so I don't wear fake fur either.

Leather makes me feel sick. Even if it was fake I wouldn't go near it.
And imo fur looks goofy on people. We're hairless creatures. Do you want to appear like a walking gorilla?

Life’s pretty good, and why wouldn’t it be? I own no leather, but my couch is made of the stuff *shrugs* If they are gonna die their gonna die may as well make them useful.
I own things made of wool, of course I do! It's actually bad for the sheep not to get sheared. Think about how you'd feel going round in a HUGE woollen bundle all summer! You'd die of dehydration and heat exhaustion!
I personally own no fur but my gran does. It's mink and fox fur and squirrel. Mink and fox would have been killed anyway due to them being vicious predators and affecting the local farming community, so they either get shot and sent to rot or have their fur used to make cosy clothing. Grey squirrels are vermin in the UK and you're allowed to kill them, so same as above, at least they aren't going to waste
And the PETA are crazies.
I’m a pirate, after all.

i like leather. a lot. fur, meh..i've always wanted a coonskin cap and a mink coat. i'd also enjoy some snakeskin boots. i own a rabbit now though, and refuse to wear anything rabbit fur. i found this adorable coat too one time, and i couldn't bring myself to buy it.

I never paid attention to what my cloths are made of. I always assumed it was made of people. ...and cotton.
Hmm No leather items that I know of, though i do have the head of an alligator sitting on my desk. The eyes were replaced with fake glass ones.~ ...It was from a gift shop in Florida, and I needed a souvenir. sweatdrop

I think the only leather things I own in my house are the sofas. I don't usually wear leather or fur. Anything furry in my house is synthetic :3

I’m a pirate, after all. ...I wonder what sheep did before humans started shearing them? O.o Keep falling over it was that heavy? xD And anyway, I think things like leather jackets etc looks horrible anyway O_o I dunno if it's because I just keep saying the horrible versions, but I dunno, never really liked that. I think, and always HAVE thought that animal prints are also tacky and lame, and I'd NEVER EVER wear anything like that AT ALL. The only main material I wear is cotton, and that's all. My bags aren't even from animals. Ugh, I hate the thought of it being from them D: I know it's a horrible thing, but it's going to keep happening, you can't STOP people from buying it. What I just said above is just from personal opinion.
