Volvy - I turned 23 a week ago. I'm pretty sure most of us regulars are about the same age-ish.
And maybe Gnarl is right that I just need more sleep for the time being. The band was meh, okay. I only knew a few songs by them, but my friend wanted me to go with her so she'd have some company. It was her boyfriend who wanted to see the band, but not alone. So we went along with him. And well we were supposed to go for the family dinner (my birthday and Father's day that was last Sunday), but I don't know will we ever go do it. confused

I was right, you are younger than me. So see? You can't be that old yet.

You can't be that much older than me. razz
And I feel older than I am, mentally. Most people I know (my age) are immature and naive and blah. confused

It's true, I'm only about 1 1/2 yrs older than you, but that's still older. So, I reiterate, you don't get to be that old yet.
I know what you mean, though. When I talk to most people in their early 20s I feel like I'm talking to 8th graders...

I tend to make friends with people who are about two or three years older then I am. I'm only 20 years old, but I pretty much make friends with everyone.
and Mana, you aren't old, you are just overworked and underslept. talk2hand

I don't think I'll ever get enough sleep living in this building. Last night there was odd ruckus from somewhere upstairs until 1.30am and then some screaming kids woke me up and god knows what time in the morning. x.X I'm really tired now and it's almost 1am and I'm trying to survive through Eyes Wide Shut, since I've not seen it to the end before.

Can you sleep through loud music? I find some white noise often helps me, so you get the most heavy/tuneless brutal death metal you can find and play that to sleep to...
An alternative is to figure out when your neighbors sleep, and play the loudest thing you can find at top volume, even if it's while you're gone. I had noisy neighbors next door in my college apartment. Solution: While they were home I plugged my computer into a guitar amp, cranked Dying Fetus so loud the windows were vibrating, then just left it play while I went into town. I had quiet neighbors next door for the rest of my stay there.
