Kaji smiled inwardly as Itsuki didn't lash or strike back in anyway for his intimate actions. In fact, he was very surprised when he felt her hands cup his face lightly and felt himself being pulled downward, noticing she was coming upward at the same time...'N..no way..is she going to...' Kaji felt her lips faintly brush against his for the briefest of moments when he felt something hit his arm...lightly...almost like a pillow, and then a light tapping sensation on his foot, as he look down and noticed Chiki pecking at his foot, he couldn't help but grin,"It seems he doesn't like me...can't blame him after what he saw..." Kaji let out a light sigh...he had a feeling the little creature would never forgive him for what he did to Itsuki today. He then frowned slightly though...sure he was cute..but he ruined what he considered a very precious moment between the two of them and he couldn't help but mutter under his breath..something about reading the mood...

Not wanting to be a bother to Zin, but still wanting to see him, Naiten chose the hokage monument as her training place. It wasn't nearly as good as the real thing (in fact, with some thought, Naiten felt that it really didn't matter) but at least there she could see a giant replica of Zin's face. After observing it a bit and then deciding that it didn't do Zin justice, Naiten took out the scroll of academy rank clan jutsus that she had borrowed from the library.

The next technique was Seiji, which used the kanji for justice. However, it wasn't something Naiten could practice on her own. It required an attack of her rank, but the girl didn't know any such attack.

That left the next technique, Gensou {Illusion}. This one as well was best learned with another party, but it was still possible to test it with only one person. As instructed, Naiten wrote the kanji for illusion. Once again, she simply infused her chakra into the delicate strokes her slender finger made. This time, her chakra carried the intent to spread about her like a box as the description put it and to reflect light so that she would be invisible to everyone else. Nai felt the technique activate. Now, all she had to do was wait for an event that would either prove or disprove that her technique had worked. Lucky for the small girl, she didn't need to wait long. A palm-sized bird, thinking no one was there, soon swooped right into the box of invisibility, only to go careening around crazily when it noticed there was a girl where it was going to land. After a small struggle during which the bird tried to find a way out and Naiten just tried to avoid any scratches, the training for Gensou finished. [1/1]

Sadly, Naiten had to skip yet another jutsu for lack of a training partner. However, she didn't need to remain disappointed for long. The next jutsu was also an offensive technique. Since learning Chikara, Naiten had started to look forward to these destructive uses of chakra as they reminded her of Zin. This one, however, was significantly more complex than the previous burst of pure chakra. Here, Naiten had to turn her chakra into four different elements. Not all at once, of course, but even doing it one by one seemed quite the task. The girl first practiced the needed character. As she thought through each of the elements and examined their individual properties, the girl's hand continued to trace out the character for "creation." [1/3]

After each element had been thought through, Naiten's hand paused but remained held up. She still had yet to figure out a way to describe how she used this character-binding technique, so all she could rely on to use the technique was her own instincts. Just like with Chikara, the small girl channeled her chakra into the center of the character she traced out and compressed it. She then went thoroughly over all the details she had gathered for the element of fire. Sight, sound, smell, and touch were all included. [2/3]

Reacting to the vivid thoughts, the chakra Naiten had compressed spread throughout the character she had traced in the air and turned flame-red. Then a beam of fire shot out of the character and hit the tree that she had already dented with chikara. As the tree was still alive and still had water coursing through its veins, it received only a burn from the attack. Naiten repeated the process three more times, but with a different element (water, earth, and wind) each time. Souzou: Doton was particularly interesting. As it was the last element to be tested, the tree had become severely weakened so that the D-rank pillar of earth ended up completely uprooting the plant. The lump of wood popped up and then dropped to the ground, landing with a heavy thud and crack. At that sound, the girl couldn't help but suppress a giggle; it sort of reminded her of how Zin had taken care of the prisoner's earlier in the day. [3/3]

If Naiten had more chakra, she would have continued hitting the tree with a few more Souzous. However, she could feel herself running out of breath and accurately read that to mean that she was also starting to run out of chakra. She couldn't afford the luxury of being reminded of Zin, not at the price of being less useful to him. Naiten remembered with an innocent smile,

After skipping the jutsus that needed a partner, Naiten came to the final jutsu on the scroll. Well, the final jutsu that she could learn to be exact. There was one more, but as it was a genjutsu, Naiten would need to find a test subject to practice the jutsu on. Naiten had her first thoughts on the technique, . With that hope, Naiten started on the technique by writing out the needed kanji. Of course, she would need something to test the affects of this jutsu on. However, she already had a possible test subject in mind. [1/3]

After practicing the kanji enough time, Naiten then set out to search for an appropriate object for her training. As she searched, she continued writing out the character for pure simply to practice. The search didn't take long, though, as the girl realized she had all the materials already needed. Taking out a kunai, the genin licked the side of one of it's edges to moisten it and then dug it into the ground. The moistened side easily picked up dirt. With this dirtied weapon, Naiten then quickly cut her left forearm. The cut was shallow, something that could heal quickly, but dirty with the foreign substance known as dirt. Now that she had something to work with, Naiten quickly swiped the dirt off the kunai and then put it back away. [2/3]

Once her hands were free once more, the Tsuchigumo survivor wrote the character for Jinsui with her right hand over the freshly made wound. As usual, she channeled chakra into the written character. This time, she visualized a purifying force, one that would purge all foreign substances. As she had learned with Kankyou Kuza, Naiten maintained her focus so that the jutsu did not end prematurely. Slowly, over the length of a few minutes, the dirt in Naiten's wound cleared away; it just disappeared without a trace. By the end of the jutsu, all that was left of the damage was a shallow cut that looked exactly like a measly paper cut. The wound had been completely cleaned. [3/3]
